Will the forum ever be updated for tablet users?

All the response links (insightful, agree, awesome) are hidden behind a field that requires a mouse over to be come visible / usable. They're not accessible from my tablet. Overall I think the forum changes are nice, but it seems a little archaic to assume a mouse is part of the user experience.

I haven't tried the new setup on a mobile device yet, but mouseover was always required to see these buttons. Have you tried touching inside the post you want to "mouseover"?

I have, you can't see or use any of the links without a mouse. What is really annoying is the quote button is inside the field that requires a mouse over to be visible. In order to quote you, I had to turn on my mouse and hover over your post so the quote button was visible, then I could press it.

The mouse was never required to quote before, but whether or not a mouse used to be required is not particularly relevant. It's required now, and I just wonder if they anticipate anyone wanting to access their forums from a modern device. For example, someone using a tablet to ask a question on the forums while playing the game on his/her primary machine.

I gave you an insightful from my phone. I have an LG G3 cell phone. I know its not a tablet but it uses similar functionality (touch screen), so maybe it is your devices UI/software that is causing a problem.

I am typing this from a tablet right now... Just tap anywhere on the post u want to rate or quote and the options will pop up at the bottom as it does on a PC. (With google chrome browser, Lenovo 10.1' S6000-F).
No problems whatsoever. Make sure the browser shows it as Dekstop, rather than tablet mode. Should be no problem then.

Possibly. I normally use a Windows tablet (a Dell Venue 8 Pro), but I just tried with my iPad as well. Same result, using IE and Safari respectively.

The site looks very different on my galaxy S4 (using chrome), but I still don't see any of the interaction links. Tried touching around and there wasn't any links to press.

What browser are you using on your phone?

Google chrome. Just a quick thought: Make sure you are logged into the forum. When I'm not logged in, I don't see the interaction links either.

Edit: I also have the "Request desktop site" option checked in my browser settings.

I just gave Pancake an 'awesome' by accident and quoted the post using my Galaxy Note 3, which I'm using now. I have to tap the screen in the area the buttons should be located to get them to appear.

Managed it on the Windows tablet in IE and on Chrome on my Android phone. In Chrome the links show up with a simple press, in IE I had to press and hold for almost a full second to get them to show up. Still no luck on my iPad. I guess it's functional enough, it just doesn't seem intuitive.

Thanks for helping me in my moment of tech flustering, I can now awesome you guys for your help.
