I will start with the obligatory 'I really like ESO and find it to be a wonderful game'.
With that out of the way, one of the aspects I dislike is having to run the three main story quests. For most this will not be an issue, but I am an 'altaholic' with characters on both servers. Repeatedly running the same obligatory quests is boring.
The suggestion: What if there were a way to randomize quests while still keeping the normal progression mechanics?
I envision perhaps a new continent where each player would get different Quest NPCs issuing level appropriate quests. Perhaps LVLs 1-5 would have 10 quests, 6-10 another 10 quests etc., but only 5 would be available to a player. When they have leveled to 50 they could create another alt and be assigned different quests than the ones they received prior.
And of course the ability to share quests would have to be there for friends who received different ones.
If it proved popular, more quests could be added to each Level bracket to keep the experience novel.
I realize this is not practical at the moment, but some mechanics to keep the game from getting stale would prove useful to player retention I have to think.
The problem with arguing with a jackass is that they never stop braying.
