recipes may be too hard to acquire

on pts i took my main (covenant) and ripped through three places i knew were populated by red rook bandits. in doing so i only found 1 recipe. i found too few backpacks or desks/trunks. two other backpacks i found alchemy water.
believe me we will still need alchemy water. but given the absolute rarity of desks/trunks, why are we still getting bone/molydenum/et al? those are easily bought for 15g?
it isnt a good idea at all to change the color of recipes. therefore i suggest you add them to the loot drop of just one other type of container. specifically, any container that is a "named" container like "melon crate" or "seasoning sack". those are spread out just right in dungeons that the random chance at a green should give a solid chance at one recipe per dungeon run.

Don't worry, there'll be plenty of recipes in the Crown Store and a 'convenience' to deal with the nerfed in-game drop rate and vast numbers of node becoming part of Justice and requiring you to be prepared to flag yourself for PVP is you dare to search them.

not quite sure if all city nodes will get us flagged, but easily 70% of them. on pts i an still able to loot the upper floors of inns without incurring any bounty or even heat.
the inn in rawl'kha is trickier now because of two new employees sweeping, but i was able to hit half of the upper floor containers there with my limited skill and patience.
meanwhile the upper floor of the inn in daggerfall had no witneses whatsoever.
in both cases, my pilfering was not seen and i got no heat and no bounty. if pvp flag is based on those than we have a small option so long as it doesnt break immersion for that toon.
for "goody two shoes" toons, this isnt an option. this may not be a problem - I have a main and four mules and each mule is its own entity in terms of rp and immersion. my main will likely never steal. my mules are not intended to be upstanding citizens.

Don't worry, you'll be able to buy them from me for a modest price. Straight from my alt holding nothing but recipes, motifs and food made from ingredients that go stale.

LoL - I have over 400 recipes in storage - mostly levels 1 - 15 and lvl 30/35 but at least one of every lvl 20/25, 40/45 green and quite a few blues of those as well.
I have close to 300 slots of ingredients hoarded although far too many slots are snowberry, white grapes, potato, et al whose conversion in the new system may not justify having 1200 of each.
Not holding much food yet but very soon I will cook off my pepper. I have plenty of mudcrab and honey comb but i really dont want to buy pinguis even though that would be the best thing to cook right now.
i also intend to cook some purple grilled frog legs, fried saltrice and mountain jerky just for laughs. i have over 500 pepper so what the heck. may as well do some steaks and some sh_a_nk as well.

Prices on rare green recipes are going up already on live. I would not be surprized to see rare greens at 5k after update 6 and purple at 20k+. Will see.

I noticed I have a bunch of purple recipes I never bothered to sell in my bank last night and almost put them up for auction. I'm glad I read this...going to wait until 1.6 now.

Yep. I really recommend to wait a bit. Justice system will make those things really valuable - recipes and motifs will go up in price a lot. Will see.

I highly dislike the fact that we'll be required to steal to get recipes. 99% of my recipes where found roaming cities over and over and over for desk and drawers loots. It still works fine, but we have to avoid getting a bounty and then launder up the recipes if we want to sell them, and there's the fact that not everybody wants to steal.
I planned on avoiding the justice system, but it will not be possible if I want to still get recipes. Components can be found in the field though.

My main is a goody-two-shoes to a certain extent, but he doesn't consider any recipe left in a desk drawer in the common room of an inn to be "owned". He also doesn't mind taking any recipe from a chest in the castle of a noble whose life/realm he has saved.
I have found places here and there that arent patrolled or if they are, it is easy to get in a crouch while their back is turned.
Anyways, my mules have one specific RP purpose - get stuff. One mule is named Gets Me Some Gear. Another is Kiss The Cook. A third is The Traitorous Grocer. And a fourth is Ramon The Starved. All four will acquire provisioning things by hook or by crook.
Ramon is a Bosmer. He will gladly kill and eat any Altmer in his way. There are some cities where there are Altmer all alone in a house. Very easy to murder and eat. While you eat them, the infamy drops. (I cant actually eat them, but that would be wicked cool)
The problem I forsee are the brand new lvl 40 thru vr10 recipes. I only have one toon that can hit bandit/imperial dungeons of those levels. Not sure if the 40/45 recipes are in Coldharbor or not. My main doesn't mind taking anything from [REDACTED DUE TO SPOILER] but I wouldn't want to rob Cicero's or "The Consultant".

LOL, avoid the Justice System. I have to wonder if you only loot and craft, and never do any questing, dungeons, etc, or kill critters for the mats they drop? Unless you only loot and craft, and NEVER kill anything, please explain why stealing is wrong, but killing is okay, especially since this is all a game.

As for recipes, all the NPCs currently on leave of absence to protest B2P will bring the recipes back with them. They are just waiting for ZO$ to stop trying to imitate it's own ouroboros design by sticking their heads up their bum.
