I have always wanted to ask sometimes you get funny combinations. Who is everyone married to in game??

Dammit Sheogorath you cannot marry yourself!

My character Jyggalag is Married to Sheogorath, if you are acquainted with Elder Scrolls lore.

    My Dunmer sorceress Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni is married to Hikiro Caemaire (an altmer/ Sorcerer who likes to explore; curtsey of my husband's early purchase of the 'any race / any pact' version).

    I actually never knew that you could take off the ring of Mara till someone mentioned they had left it in the bank. I'm a (closet) romantic, so that just never occurred to me.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I have 2 different character that are both married to characters my wife in real life has (we both got the Imperial edition).

    My husband and I married our Mains to each other. They're Breton vampires. We typically have them act like Morticia and Gomez when we're together. LOL

    Till now I could not see the appeal of playing Vampires.... that is horribly adorable.

    On NA I was mara'd to my in game friend Vanitas - till he made v10 (there was no v12 then and no trials) who got bored and left the game! Oddly we still chat on whatsapp!

    For some reason, I have kept these rings. Not sure why, I have no desire to marry someone in a game. Did not do this in Skyrim either.

    I do have another character (orc sorc/tank) that is potentially interested in offering a ring of mara to his second/partner (breton/templar/healer), but it's too early in the relationship for that.

    I never used my ring of Mara because I never had a friend I was confident enough would stick to the game or even just stick to one toon. So far, I've been right. My little Bosmer runs solo :'(

    My ring is also unused. Meh. I've thought about it a couple of times but it seems the guys who want to marry me in-game want to extend the relationship beyond the boundaries of Tamriel.

    But as soon as I suggest they help take care of my six kids, I never hear from them again.

    Of course, I don't have six kids. :)

    My girlfriend and I have a pair of matched characters. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure all four are werewolves. I've also still got an unused scroll of Mara, she ended up with two from the bank deletion bug back at launch. So, we'll probably pair off another set of characters some day.
