Just a hope....ZOS say lots of sub's leave because of VR rank and cannot negotiate to keep sub's with Microsoft. So they leave in VR rank and release on console to sell millions of boxes....then they don't release content to chase off the console players and when they do release dlc they price it at $50 per zone except subscribers who get it free...then they say "oh sorry, there is no demand for our console version and our players hate b2p, so we decided to return to subscription only model on PC... We will transfer your console character to PC for a small $15 fee which includes your first month sub fee".

With this plan they get the box sales and end up " the sub based game that allows them to be what they want to be."

OK, yeah troll away

P.S. can you imagine the news articles "ESO drops b2p model offers SUB only as a first in mmo history!"

Crafty like a fox? Never heard that one before. I've heard "stupid like a fox" and "crazy like a fox" but whatever, I guess. Damn kids and their idioms these days...

Most games go P2W, a few do not, none came back from abyss so far.
Besides, players that sought game without cash shop were already here. ZOS threw them overboard like some filth. I doubt those players would give it second chance.
