Problem with directx9

Hello guys, I'm experiencing some fps issues with my game so I tried to change my directx settings. My game was using DX11, so I change to 9 but after that my game screen is all black. The UI is working but the rest is black.

Anyone have passed throught it?

Hey there @Grunge,

How did you change the DirectX settings for the game? If it was through the usersettings.txt, are you able to change it back to DX11 and have the visuals return?

Hi, sorry for this, I resolved this issue with this:

- Changed the usersettings.txt back to directx11
- Enter the game (it was back to normal) and quit the game
- Changed the usersettings.txt to directx9 again
- Restarted my computer

It seems that I need this restart to make the directx changes work properly.

Thanks for getting back to us with the fix, we're glad to hear that it's working for you! Did swapping the renderer to DX9 resolve the frame rate issues you were experiencing, or is the issue still present?

Unfortunatelly not, GaryA!
It just make me able to play using dx9, but the FPS drops are not tied to this issue! I guess it's all about resolution x my laptop's video card resolution capacity.

As I said in other thread, I will test it later and let you know.
