I have heard ZOS developers mention new areas will scale to your level. Now while I know the details arent out yet maybe someone can answer a few questions I have about the region.

I understand it is going to be solo friendly. Will I be able to level up my VR10 characters I havent had a change to run through craglorn?

Will it scale to my other characters and is there any connection to the main story line?

I assume this will be a DLC. Any idea how much it will cost in crowns and speaking of crowns how much is 1500 crowns in US dollars?

How long after the console release will this go live?

Thats about all for now.

Only two of your questions have answers.

Will I be able to level up my characters in those zones instead of [insert zone here]? Sure. If they continue with the plan of scaling these zones to your level, then any of your characters can level up there at any time.

How much is 1500 Crowns in US dollars? Based on the price of the Imperial Edition in the Crown Store, $15.00.

The short version.... no one knows. All we know is that Wrothgar is going to be a solo zone.

They aren't going to be giving any more solid information on Wrothgar, etc., until those updates are next in line.

We do know one more thing. It is called Orsinium now, not Wrothgar.

Personally, I like the name Wrothgar better. And, oddly, it is the easier of the two to type. At least, for me it is.

I have no idea whey they decided to rename it. I can't see where either name is better than the other. I guess Orsinium might be more recognizable to TES fans.

It is not a matter of you preference, the zone is called Wrothgar, and the Orc city is called Orsinium.

I could see that being the case. Orsinium had been known as the Orsimer stronghold since Morrowind, where the only mention of Wrothgar up to this point being the "Wrothgarian Mountains" which held the, clearly more important, stronghold of Orsinium.

Not that I think a name change for the DLC was needed, though.

    Thats about all for now.

We don't know anything yet. All we can do is speculate.

Imperial Edition Upgrade is 2100 Crowns
-> Or 25€ if you upgrade now.
-> Not sure how much it is for the Americans, only 20$ I think.

But lets say we calculate it through the European € side.
-> 1€ would equal to only 84 Crowns.

If we take another look at the current store, and the only mount in there -> Palomino Horse (12€).
-> The mounts in the Crown Store are ranging from 900-1300 Crowns.
-> Horses for 900 Crowns would equal to even lower amount of Crowns, only 75 per 1€.

1500 Crowns per 1 month Sub suddenly looks like a great deal.
-> If I take the average of those 2 values above, we get ~80 crowns per 1€.
-> 1500 Crowns would equal to about ~19€.
-> That doesn't mean we would be paying more for a Sub. The Sub stays the same however we get more out of it, than everyone who doesn't have one.

Lets say a DLC costs 3000 Crowns (which should be about right price).

-> Subbed people would need to pay 2 months for it (26€)
    -> While non-subbed people would pay (37-38€)
-> Non-subbed people would be paying about 1/3 more for everything.

Note: Everything above is a pure speculation, take it with a grain of salt

I am wondering if renaming it to Orsinium is an indication that the DLC will be scaled back. A Wrothgar DLC implies an entire zone with delves, dungeons, cities, villages, NPCs, and related quests. A DLC named after just the Orc city in the zone could mean that they are scaling back the content to be just the city, similar to how Mournhold was done in TES 3. Characters would travel to Orsinium via fast travel instead.

Why do you think they only named it Orsinium. The last pod cast I watched they referred to it as wrothgar and then talked about the city of orsinium. Saying those were going to be the next things added as far as that type of content. I didnt feel they only planned on releasing the city but the entire region with the city in it.

ESO Live #10, about 20 minutes in, last question of the As Us Anything segment, Jessica reveals the information.

Edit: They talk about it like it is still a full zone, but I question this.

Second Edit: It is possible they renamed the entire zone to Orsinium (there is a Lore precedent) and the name now refers to both the zone and the city, as well as the name of the DLC.

They have not renamed it, at least not as of today, where there is a green post using the word "Wrothgar" to refer to the new zone. So let's not get ourselves in too much of a tizzy.

I was under the impression that it wouldn't be the zone that's doing the scaling.

To my understanding you will be battle-leveled to the difficulty of the zone. Akin to how you're battle leveled when you enter Cyrodiil.

Great. ZOS is giving out contradictory information that they will not correct for months because it is about products that are still under development.

    Jessica vs Sage.

I guess I will take Sage at this point and claim that Jessica was suffering from a momentary brain cloud.
