Does 'Bolt Escape' Count as a 'Charge'?

Orcs have the racial passive that increases 'Charge' abilities dmg by a percentage.

Does the Sorcerer ability 'bolt' or 'bolt escape' count as a 'Charge' ability?

    I don't think so. I believe charges need a target.

    On the bright side, I didn't know about that passive. My Orc DK is going to be happy!

    No. A charge is towards an enemy. If you are using Bolt Escape you are running away. Hence the name Bolt Escape.

    Well what if I want to use it to Bolt into an enemy zerg and let all hell loose?

    Its about the only racial passives Orcs have that is worth a hoot

    As of now it does damage and stuns if you streak into an enemy. So I can see what the OP is getting at with his question.

    It has always done that when you took the "Streak" morph.
    Ball of lightning absorbed missiles.

    One was clearly an offensive, the other a defensive morph.

    No it does not. The Aedric Spear ability focused charge is the only class 'charge'. Two Handed Weapon skill line and One Hand and Shield skill line both have a charge as well though. When the game first started I was curious about the nightblade teleport ability ambush. It is not a charge either if you're wondering.
