Whats causing me silence in PvP?

What is causing me to become silenced by players in PvP? I didnt know that was even in the game and I hate it, I truly wish this skill was not in the game.

Wrong section, should be Allaince War.

And the skill is negate, sorc ultimate

In case you do not know, you can use 'break free' to remove the silence from yourself (same as breaking stuns). Also, weapon skills still work even while silenced (flurry, wrecking blow etc.)

Maybe its lag then because break free seems to not work right and silence seems to stop me from casting immovable.

I dont know I just hate MMO where CC becomes the go to thing because players will always abuse CC to no end if CC is not controlled, If I had it my way All CC will share the same DR and silence would be removed, no need when you have knock downs, stuns and interrupts, a silence is an over kill.

CC was invented for games with tab targeting to make combat for interesting, heavy CC has no place in a game with twitch style combat and active dodging.

I hate it! Remove it! LOL WAH WAH WAH! The skill is so easy to counter L2P. Why is it players in PvP don't want to L2P and just want to remove useful mechanics from the game?
