Using the twilight pet in pvp is no point, when fighting anyone average or better, they know its insanely weak and will fall over after 2 hits, specially in 1.6. So unless you wanna spend your few seconds before death resummoning it for 1.5 second (cast time) every 2 seconds, dont use it in pvp.

Even though pets were supposedly boosted in the latest update, they still have a pretty bad ai, and as of now will only be useful if you have an unused slot in your skill bar, and use various cc skills so the enemy is not able to slaughter your summoned creature.

It would be cool if they were actually functioning and useful.

The initial buffs to the Pets is a step in the right direction, now they just need to complete the journey.

As it stands now, no one really uses pets outside of the 1 to 50 leveling zones, and rarely in the Silver and Gold zones.

Hmmm...I dunno. I found my clanfear extremely handy as a tank in solo VR content, especially when dealing with groups of 3 or really tough bosses. I used it all the way through silver and gold. It's tough to find help in the VR levels as empty as they are so personally, I brought my help with me.

I have no idea what the numbers really are but for solo content I did see quite a few sorcerers still using their pets.

For PVP I agree. Pets are pretty useless there. They get killed off almost immediately when people use them.

You answered your own question.
I used pets while playing solo, they help so much. But in pvp, enemies aka players, are not anywhere near as predictable as mobs or bosses in pve.

In pvp, pets ai is not competitive enough compared to a human player. The pets get wiped ridiculously easy. They also can't change or adapt as quickly, which pvp requires.

They are essentially useless in pvp. I think that is what alot of people have an issue with.

The point of this thread is to make ZOS aware of the pets uselesness in pvp. Specificly the twilight since it dies so very easy and has a 1.5 cast time, you end up starting the fight with it up, it dies fast and you dont bother resummon it because of the long cast time, after a few fights you just end up unslotting the pet from your build.

IMO the twilight needs one or all of the following: No cast time, higher hp and hardened ward being refreshable on it like on player.
