PTS PVP Testing And Suggestions

Current PVP Suggestions:

-Venom arrow is not interrupting through damage shields, this needs to be fixed

-Can't generate ultimate through attacking damage shields, you don't get the buff which generates ultimate over 8 seconds

-Damage shield scaling should probably not be tied to offensive stats like magicka and stamina, its contributing to min-max builds being overpowered

-Min maxed builds are over the top. Most notably pure magicka sorcs and pure stamina templars

-Biting jabs should not stunlock permanently

-Biting jabs on the PTS in template gear is literally doing 15k damage in 1 jabs. The only way to survive it is to have max magicka, max strength layered damage shields. If you have anything less than min maxed damage shields, you will be dead before the stun break animation finishes playing, even if you had damage shields up. The first biting jabs chews through your shields and stuns you. The second or third jabs kills you while the "stun break" animation is playing. I can post a video of how insane it is

-Biting jabs is not defended by bone shield at all, it completely ignores it

-Pure magicka sorcerrors are overtuned. They have extremely strong defense with shield stacking, and extremely strong offense with daedric curse into crushing shock + light spam until you proc frags. Crushing shock builds are incredibly easy to use and this one ability interrupts, snares, puts a dot on you, has max range, etc. Very easy build to play and incredibly powerful with no drawbacks. Pets make it even more over the top for smaller scale situations.

-Annulment: Harness magicka is currently one of the only ways to survive the damage output of a pure magicka sorcerror, unless you are min maxed yourself to have max strength damage shields and magicka recovery. If harness magicka was not in the game, literally no other build would be viable for sorcerror. You would need max strength damage shields like conjured ward and healing ward in order to survive enemy min maxed spell damage. Annulment is one of the only things that allows you to tank a min maxed spellcaster and try to not be min maxed yourself, but even it scales off magicka

-With damage this high, stun break animation should be removed. Why should breaking CC cause you to be CC'd by an animation? In essence, breaking a stun, stuns you.

-There should be better indicators of when you are stunned or feared. Sometimes your character just stops moving, and stops responding, and there are no combat cues letting you know that youve been stunned or feared

-Immobilize needs better counters

-There should be more incentives to hybridize and try unique builds. The second undaunted passive is a step in the right direction. If 1.6 goes live as it is in 1.6.1, most players are going to play as max magicka in light, max stamina in medium, or max health in heavy. There is little reason to diversify.

-I provided little feedback on DK and Nightblade because I have not been able to test with them yet enough, and am not seeing enough players use them.
