Is not as fluid or aesthetically pleasing as the old one in 1.5. In the new animation, the caster appears to be terse and stiff as if suffering from some sort of abdominal pain.
It's sad the update ZOS devotes to performance improvements has degraded Cyrodiil to lows not seen since the Infamous "Lighting Patch"" of June 2014.

Morgha_Kul✭✭✭✭✭I don't care for the new staff animations in general, but I don't hate them. What I do like is that (at least for restoration) we stand "leaning" on the staff. However, we look rather uncomfortable doing it, with our feet awkwardly apart and arm crooked out to the side.
I'd love to see us get the same animations as the Prophet has, where we stand with the staff in hand in a relaxed posture, and WALK LEANING ON IT, as he does (for BOTH staves). Of course, the running animation is fine as it is.Exploring Tamriel since 1994.
