Safety Request Prior to 1.6 Live - Please Hotpatch Live to 200 Item Stacking

With the confirmed issues with the new Horse system causing the loss of items for Copied Characters in 1.6 PTS. And to give a margin of safety to all players prior to 1.6 Live.

Would you please consider hot-patching Live now to allow 200 item stacking.

This would allow all players the ability to manage character inventories prior to 1.6 Live and preclude any problems with transition when 1.6 goes live.

200 item stacking would easily allow many players to be below 50-70 added horse carry amounts on their Character Inventories and not have any issues with 1.6 transition.

This is an excellent suggestion and I hope it will be considered. Thanks to the new mount system my very first impression of 1.6 was "oh great I'm gonna lose a bunch of my stuff!"

I like this suggestion. As someone who lost items due to the bank problems back closer to launch (not once, but twice) I don't think I could forgive a second mistake on their part. I toughed it out the first two times but it was a hassle I really don't feel like repeating.

Or, they fix the root cause of the issue and there'll be no need for band-aid fixes.

If it's possible, this is a great suggestion. First priority should be to fix the issue. It should be number one priority because ZOS will get a chance to see if their fix worked when they copy the EU players over. Since the problem seems to happen on entry into the 1.6 patch (the horse is not enabled at first login), there's not a lot of opportunity to see if a fix works. If it's not resolved by when the EU characters are copied, then increasing the stacks to 200 can help mitigate some of the damage. If people don't here by word of mouth or reading forums, there will still be a lot of lost inventory.

Obviously that would be the best but unless they're going to fix it on PTS and then do a second character copy to prove that it really is fixed so I can see it for myself, I'm sure not going to rely on the horse-stored items being there when 1.6 goes live.

Even then I'll probably reduce my character inventories just in case something goes wrong, and the stacking might help with that.

Unless the stacking goes horribly wrong of course.
