Mystery of the floating fires (nothing works)

So basically all I see is this:

What is it and how do I get my normal 'screen' back? I would like to play again xD

That's certainly unique...let's see what we can do!

First, give a try to using a Wayshrine to move to a different location.

Second, does this occur on all of your characters, or just one?

I have the same problem in the character select screen. (except no fires there)
So that makes me think its not just an ingame problem. Or is it wrong to assume that?

I think that some likely steps would be:
- submit a game consultant file to Customer Support [info here]
- repair your client
- reduce your moon-sugar consumption

I already repaired my client, didn't work ^^

Hey there @Marwoleath,

@Gyudan has it right . As a quick run down, you may went to ensure that your video card drivers are up to date (Nvidia here, AMD here.) That would be the most common cause of this.
