Will there be any way to earn crowns in game?

As I have previously stated I am happy to pay a sub if I still have a way to access all of the games content (yes mounts and costumes are content).

Someone suggested I ask about the possibility of players being able to able to earn crowns by playing the game. I think it's an excellent idea and I was wondering if Zos plan to include this.

This would be seperatel and in addition to the allotment you get for staying subscribed. For those of us with more time and fewer credit cards it could help us adjust to this new transition.

So, can anyone shed light on whether we can earn crowns in game?

How do I get crowns?
There are several ways to get crowns:

1) As a new player: New players will be given a one-time gift of 500 crowns for buying the game and creating a game account.

2) As a current subscriber: If you are an active subscriber when The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited launches, you will receive 500 crowns for having a game account, plus 100 crowns for each 30-day period you have been an active subscriber. In addition, you'll be automatically enrolled in ESO Plus for the remainder of your subscription period. You'll receive the full benefits of membership, and 1500 crowns for each 30-day period remaining on your subscription. For example, if you have 30 days or less remaining, you will receive 1500 crowns. If you have between 30 and 60 days remaining, you will receive 3000 crowns. 60 to 90 days, 4500 crowns.

3) As a returning player: If you've previously played The Elder Scrolls Online, but are no longer a subscriber, you'll receive 500 crowns when you log in for having a game account, plus 100 crowns for each 30-day period you were a subscriber.

4) Purchase Crown Packs: PC/Mac players will be able to purchase crown packs from The Elder Scrolls Online store. Console players will be able to purchase crowns via the Xbox Live or PSN stores.

From what I gather out of the notes. Someone with 60-90 days remaining will get 4500 points. Does this mean they just get those points up front all 3 months worth at once or each month, I think it's all 3 months worth at once but would like clarification, otherwise I will be changing to 3 month sub so I can get 4500 points a month.

You dont get 4500 points per month its 4500 total. 1500 times three equals 4500.

Not the answer I hoped for but it didn't rule it out as a posibilty either. With zos' track record of leaving important omissions out of statements I still hope earning crowns in game will be a possibility.

@Xjcon it depends on the situation you're referring to.

If you have between 60 and 90 days left on your subscription when March 17th hits, you will receive 4500 crowns up front.

If you are referring to ESO Plus membership, you receive the crowns up front upon subscription, not monthly. If you were to select a 90 day membership to ESO plus on March 17th, you would receive 4500 crowns on March 17th. You will then receive your next allotment of 4500 crowns when your subscription renews in July.

You dont get 4500 points per month its 4500 total. 1500 times three equals 4500.

You asked a question I answered it. Same as the mod did same exact answer. You dont get 4500 a month.
