Thank you for taking the time to read. I wanted to highlight some of the things I had the privilege to participate in this week in Chill.

Started Monday on the server reset. After a great lag free night of fighting around Arrius I take a quick break and come up to the farm around Arrius. I come over the hill towards keep and I see like 10 blue. Get my 1vrsx ready and get ready to yolo. Wait. There are EP there. What is going on here? I come down and they are talking and dueling. They have all fought so long they are all pretty much friends.

I decide to duel, who I didn't know at the time, the Emp. I put out an impulse, I didn't respec i was tired, and I immediately get jumped by all DC. Got it, no impulse allowed here lol. The she proceeds to whoop my but.

Over the next five days or so I participate in countless battles with M4D against superior numbers. I listened and followed orders. Even against extremely difficult odds they have sound tactics for taking back the map wihich they tried EVERYDAY. That takes a special kind of love for each other and dedication.

Had an amazing fight on Thursday or something, not sure which as this weeks a blurr as anyone who has tried an emp push knows lol. Had an awesome 2 hour fight or SEJ hunting grounds with EMP and Princess. We had two to one odds and couldn't dent them. Lol

Then comes Saturday morning. Wake to find that second on boards had destroyed me overnight. So we decide its go time. We start making pushes towards inner. Get through first inner keep with no issues and then all hell breaks lose. Over comms DC at 2 bars, wait 3, crap DC is locked. Heart racing now for everyone. Over the next 3 hours or so we have some of the best pvp I have had here. Lag free. Great job Zos.

I don't know who lead DC as the emp was not on, but they push us all the way back to just Farragut. Well done to whoever lead that. We decide to have some more pvp after a break and our raid leader decides on a very bold strategy. Let's split forces and attack a couple different inner keeps and test their reaction time. Omg it works! We get three inner real quick.

On the way back we have the greatest battle I have had at SEJ bridge. OMG that was sick. You couldn't see a spot on the ground there was so many people. Awesome fight and they ultimately wreck us.

Then we get m4d and other players up to a full raid and they go to Allessia and take it. My hands start shaking for the next two hours. 2 keeps to go. All those that have pushed for emp know the feeling. Couldn't turn away from the screen. Then the EMP starts an amazing defense. We just could not crack their defense. Their mobility was just amazing to watch.

So our raid leader makes another bold decision. Let's push Glade and their home keeps and make them split up. It gets immediately countered and they push us at like 6 different spots. Zone chat goes nuts. Great work by all involved there. We are able to stabilize the map.

Still having trouble cracking ASH. You want some fun pvp have some guilds go to chillrend. Have one defend and one attack. It is lag free and absolutely fantastic. The servers handled that bloodbath amazingly. I have never see such a great defense. Crazy meat grinder.

Just when I think we can't do it EP from other servers come and we are able to finally crack it. I don't feel bad admitting that. To accomplish what we did against a great alliance like DC Chillrend you need a lot of help. You were right empress you should be extremely proud holding us off for so long. Great job and one of the best emp runs ESO has seen. I particularly liked your gracefulness and friendliness you showed me throughout the entire week even knowing I would eventually try to dethrone you. That takes a special kind of character.

What a feeling. For those that haven't been emp all I can say is try! Forget the super powers. that feeling you get when your raid leader gets quiet finally and says "Congrats bro EMP is yours" after leading that battle, gives you the chills. Worth mentioning is I am pretty sure I was the only one dead on that last flag. Lol

In closing back to the original topic. Congrats m4d, you really are the unsung heroes after all I observed this week. I hope you enjoyed it. It was a great way to end it when I am not sure who said it on TS but they logged in and said after looking at the map "am I on wrong server?" He sounds a little choked up and someone says pass him a tissue. Lol

Special shout out to my wife. What she dealt with gracefully, was why I love her. Just wants me to be happy. Thank you for your patience.

This post makes me extremely happy. Can't even put my finger on why.

I guess it's just awesome to see someone enjoying the game so much, even though they weren't always "winning," and it's refreshing to read a positive post about someone's fun experiences.

For the tl;dr

IR, Havoc, and other TB guilds showed up and flipped chill.

Way more entertaining than any of the fights were the hours of full blown panic and cries for help from blue pvers in trade guilds actual campaigns zone.

I'm happy that your Chillrend playtime was great but, be carfeful what you wish for. That lag free only exists because the big number and pulse guilds stay off of it.

At what point is anyone supposed to care about buff server crowning again? It's part of what tainted the title for those of us who earned it on actual campaigns.

Some of us don't have the required time to push on the more "crowded" campaigns. I am in the military and don't have the time. Trust me everyone earned it. Keep your ego in check.

Don't insult people on other servers including the other factions that live there. That is an actual campaign like any other.

It's a buff server now with no real pvp, I wouldn't call any emp on it after EHJ packed up and left a real emp. Once it got that buff server mentality it was indeed that. Not saying those after Chillrend 1.0 didn't "earn" it but they sure didn't have to actually fight for it.

Chillrend, Haderus, Azuras are all a joke. The locals who frequent it for the most part can't handle one small group of organized players or 8. Excluding a handful from each server the vast majority have no clue how to pvp or any mechanic. The only time they venture into this section is when a thread pops up on removing buffs from PvE and they all vote against.

Logged on last evening intending to do some PvE leveling of my Templar Alt only to find EP had nearly run the entire Chillrend Cyrodiil map red! They nearly had our DC scroll of Ni-Mohk before we intercepted it outside the Ni-Mohk gate. After taking a few keeps, we had been able to take some advantage of the low populations and make it back to Blue Road Keep. At that point it was 3am and I had to log off ... DC had made some progress back.

There were some good fights in there, EP, so hats off for making things interesting again on Chillrend.

which is why I would give up my emp buffs if they fixed buff servers and made us do it again or only give us a costume or something.

I was one of the EP that left Thornblade to help crown the EP emperor on Chillrend over the weekend. While that battle at Ash may have seemed impressive to some, there are usually half a dozen or more just like that one on Thornblade every day. Nevertheless, I am always willing to help crown a new EP emperor. Congrats on your achievement, Darnathian. It was about time someone brought down the blue empire on Chillrend.

You say you have pvpd for a year yet no one knows who you are still to this day. You've yet to do anything besides be a forum troll and not even a good one at that. Once you understand the mechanics behind how farming players helps your faction then maybe you can proceed with doing whatever it is you do on a daily basis.

Let me take a wild guess at what happened here . Just wild speculation ....

Some guy on a DC buff server is trying to gain AP fighting incredible odds with one small group . In pops another group from TB with a full raid maybe two that can actually push the map . Dude that's been trying this is grateful but sees his score on the leader board melting N looses his *** . Calls in friends from another side to bump his score and takes Emp away from one of the EP guys that just came in . Now everyone's jimmys are all ruffled .... Maybe some hate tells and rage during the debacle for good measure . Sound about right ? Or am I way off base ?
