Cross Alliance Content Possibilities

Zeni should make an uber 24 man raid and let all alliances group up to take it down.

There is still an option for a 24-man in the LFG tool, so I'm pretty sure they will add a "real raid" someday.

However just forget about the Cross-Alliance. They don't even want to add it for dungeons, because it's supposedly "lore-breaking".

No idea what is so lore breaking, if some undaunted fellas just don't give a damn about war, and they just go explore dangerous places together.

More options for players is always better than less options

Yep. And it's even not lore breaking because guilds don't participate at war.

I REALLY wish we could just do dungeons/Trials together with other alliances...I mean, c'mon. So it's not lore breaking for my EP main to go help those damn AD elves in an Auridon dungeon but it would be lorebreaking for me to do that with actual people from AD? Logic much?

Seriously don't see why it still isn't in the game...as been said, it's more options for people. With all the people who repeatedly complain about being unable to find a group, you'd think they'd jump at the opportunity to give us that.

I wish I could move the characters I created in the beginning to get a feel of each faction all in the one I most actively play now... But yes, cross-faction play would be nice.

I would love to group with members of other allences - for dungeon as well as for cad wells silver and gold. I really dislike it when I go to join group to help a guild mate out with a dungeon and the "wrong allience" message comes up. Yay to playing with anyone you like!

Tamriel in ESO doesn't feel like a living world to me, not because NPCs don't move around and don't talk (they actually do move and talk sometimes on their own) or because the landscape is unrealistic, but because when I go to veteran zones I don't feel like I'm in enemy territory.

I am 'magically' transferred to let's say Daggerfall. I clearly am in Daggerfall, the same place Daggerfall Covenant is but for some reason there are no DC members there.

Imagine if low levels saw you walk among them and think 'Meh this guy is our ally' but actually you're from EP and you're clearing vet content. Now THAT would give me the feel of an undercover mission that cadwells silver/gold quests are.

    Or am I missing something?

Here's my standard list of everything I think should be cross-faction, and the lore reasons why it would be appropriate:
    • Coldharbour: All three alliance leaders have agreed to the invasion, so it would make sense for members of all alliances to be there.
    • Craglorn: Politically neutral with no fealty to any alliance; also the Star-Gazers are searching for help in each capital city, so it would make sense for members of all alliances to respond.
    • Group Dungeons [4] and Trials [12] (and Raids [24], since you mention it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:): All of these are organised by the Undaunted, who take members from all factions, so any Undaunted should be able to group with any other Undaunted to tackle it.
    • Eyevea and the Earth Forge: Members of the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild come from all alliances, and these are their safe zones, so people from all alliances will be there.

Cadwell's aren't really undercover missions, they're alternate history.
