I'm doing this. I'm also working on achievements, and finally getting all (8) characters to 3/3 for ALL Hirelings. I've been hoping on some Alts lately too and frankly it's been a nice change from only playing my VR14 NB. I'm of the group that could care less how many, if any, CP points they give me to start with since those people who play many hours/day will leap ahead of casuals fast anyway and still have their epeen in a short time. Why not just do what you normally would do if there was no 1.6 coming?

Looking forward to CS, new guilds, Imperial city, justice system.

Why not doing gold? If it's no big deal for others to waste it why not go ahead and finish that now or are you just looking for an unfair advantage over other players?

On a more serious note: if your enjoyment of a game is predicated on your having a headstart over others, then you weren't really enjoying the game much.
