No XP for keep/resouce defense or capture? When was the change? Bug?

I haven't tried leveling a toon in a long time, but now that I think about it. I remember vividly after the v14 cap increase keep defense XP was slightly more than keep defense AP. I remember getting 28k AP and 30k XP from a 1 hour long chalman defense with Bit and EHJ.

So I'm the only one who noticed this? No wonder Cyrodiil leveling is much slower than it was.

You get 477 exp for any offensive or defensive tick, or at least that's what I get. Everything from a 25 AP resource capture with no player kills to a 6k D-tick after a huge keep defense is worth the same amount.

It didn't used to be like this. You used to get more XP than AP for ticks and kills.

Yeah I remember it being almost 10 to 1. So is a dtick was1k Ap I would also get 10k VP.

The formula used to be AP * Vet rank

Ergo, at V1 youd get the same as your AP

At V5 youd get the AP x 5

So if you got a 1200 Defense tick @ vet 10, youd have gotten 12000 VP.

For levels 10-49 youd get the same XP as you would have gotten for vet points @ v1. AP = XP in other words.

They changed this a while back (when they changed the amount of vet points needed per vet rank), and its pissed me off ever since. Also a major reason my Sorc has been stuck at v6 for so long.

Nope, 10-49 you seem to get a flat XP rate no matter the AP earned which seems to be the same. The poster above said a flat 477xp. I was seeing like 46 xp for 2800 AP tick.

This makes it effectively impossible to level in Cyrodiil anymore. It' would take thousands of hours to reach 50.

I had no idea this change took place. It's an absolute killer for those who came into ESO to pvp.

If I would have known this was done or going to be done, I would have screamed bloody murder. At this point there is no way (even though Cyrodiil is the best on the market) I could recommend ESO to other pvprs.

Nono, i mean thats how it USED to be. Its how I leveled my EP Sorc up.
