Because PvP has been laggy and broken for ages, so decided to roll up a couple alts to divert my attention at times when Cyrodiil becomes unplayable.
Paid for that time either way, if it can't be spent on doing what I love I guess I have to settle for something less.

Ah, a prime example of the sunk cost fallacy.

My first character was a bosmer nightblade that I intended to play as a bow/dual wield DPS. As I was spending many skillpoints in crafting, it soon became difficult to progress in the veteran content (before nerf), especially for bosses who had CC immunity. I stopped at VR3, and it is now my main crafter.
My 2nd character is an altmer sorcerer that I intended to play as a stick and dress, destro/resto. Leveling was quite easy, as well as the basic endgame content. Trials showed that my character was lagging behind in DPS compared to other classes (DK mostly, NB too) and that I wasn't as effective as them. I wanted to heal as well but would never be as effective as a specialized templar, so it was kind of a dead end as well. This character is still my main VR14, still destro/resto.
My 3rd character is an imperial templar, that I intended to play mostly as a tank, with healing gear for backup. Leveling was quite easy, as well as the basic endgame content. In trials, I manage to heal much more effectively than my sorcerer, even though I'm only VR12 and not fully in legendary gear. Tanking also seems easier than with a sorcerer, mostly because of the improved stamina regeneration and the ability to cast emergency heals.
