    Because PvP has been laggy and broken for ages, so decided to roll up a couple alts to divert my attention at times when Cyrodiil becomes unplayable.

    Paid for that time either way, if it can't be spent on doing what I love I guess I have to settle for something less.

    Rolled a NB,

    re rolled Dk because they're easy mode then went back to NB because Dk was OP
    ESO, "play your way", As long as its light armor and staff

    v14 DK (Re-rolled to NB, because DK is easy-mode)
    v12 Duel Wield Khajiit NightBlade (Re-rolled again to play ranged DPS) Snipe spam

    Main v9 Bosmer NB Archer (Can't hit v14 due to ZOS screwing with XP)

    My first character was a bosmer nightblade that I intended to play as a bow/dual wield DPS. As I was spending many skillpoints in crafting, it soon became difficult to progress in the veteran content (before nerf), especially for bosses who had CC immunity. I stopped at VR3, and it is now my main crafter.

    My 2nd character is an altmer sorcerer that I intended to play as a stick and dress, destro/resto. Leveling was quite easy, as well as the basic endgame content. Trials showed that my character was lagging behind in DPS compared to other classes (DK mostly, NB too) and that I wasn't as effective as them. I wanted to heal as well but would never be as effective as a specialized templar, so it was kind of a dead end as well. This character is still my main VR14, still destro/resto.

    My 3rd character is an imperial templar, that I intended to play mostly as a tank, with healing gear for backup. Leveling was quite easy, as well as the basic endgame content. In trials, I manage to heal much more effectively than my sorcerer, even though I'm only VR12 and not fully in legendary gear. Tanking also seems easier than with a sorcerer, mostly because of the improved stamina regeneration and the ability to cast emergency heals.

    first i leveled my DW Nightblade to VR10 and then started with my DK. Both chars got created on 30.3.

    First by no means wanted i to play NB as Caster. So i mained my DK. Stamina was very bad anyway back in the days. Now i enjoy my Nightblade again.

    And i can do everything that the game has to offer do on 2 different classes.

    Sorc never appealed to me and TEmplar also isnt really my style.

    My main VR14 NB Khajiit Kotaro Atani is all Med armor and DW/BOW, and restoration staff, even though resto staff just never felt right with him, he is also my main crafter, he does all the crafts, yes all of them. Currently working on my VR6 NB caster Argonian Saliltul med/light armor Resto/Destro staff user and working to get him to do Enchanting and Alchemy to free up My Main's skill points in those area's.

    I also have a VR1 Khajiit NB Vampire magicka heavy dual wield alt. And have 5 other alt's, between level 6 and 25, two other nightblades, two sorcs and a imperial DK.

    ESO is the first MMO and first Elder Scrolls game I've ever played. Before pre-launch in March, I bought the Imperial package because it seemed to offer some nice starter perks (turned out not so much, but meh). I created a Templar only because I was familiar with the story of the Knights Templar from books. Didn't know the pros and cons of each class at the time. Then, in that first Coldharbour dungeon, I grabbed a two-handed sword because it was the first weapon to activate for me. I started a bow at around level 11.

    I leveled that Imperial Templar all the way to vr14 over a few months while Templar was considered by far the weakest class in the game. Two-handed was hopeless for a long time and I abandoned it around level 46. Bow has been my favorite, followed by resto and destro in that order. I've finished Cadwell's silver/gold, gotten all skyshards and lorebooks in Tamriel, completed all delves in the three factions, Coldharbour and Cyrodiil, and about half in Craglorn, and done my share of PvP. I have only one world boss left to kill, then will have them all in the three factions and Coldharbour.

    Along the way I learned that my Imperial Templar is a DPS character, more by accident than by any design on my part. But she has never been effective at the very high DPS needed for trials, DSA and now the veteran Undaunted content. In that veteran content, I've been in a couple of groups where members were nastily critical of my DSP output, so I redid her build to high magicka for healing. Then, guess what, some in veteran groups complained about my healing. This was both intimidating and annoying, because to me ESO is only a game I play for a couple of hours after work and a few more hours on weekends. So now I don't do any of that so-called elite end-game stuff.

    Awhile back I started a Breton Sorcerer and leveled her to vr14. I really enjoy this character, but about the time she got to vr14, I discovered now sorcerers are considered the weakest class in the game. So she's on the shelf until I see what the Champion Points system brings.

    Lately I've been leveling a Dark Elf Dragon Knight. She's at level 20 making her way through Grahtwood at the moment. I already can see how much more powerful she is than either the Templar or Sorcerer. She can kill single enemies at a much higher level than she is, and if her ultimate is up, she can kill high-level mobs. Leveling was really hard with the Templar, easy with the Sorcerer, and a total breeze so far with the DK. But judging by the complaints on this forum from PvP players, the DK will be nerfed into oblivion soon and will then be the weakest class. At which point, I'll give up on ESO.

    Where's my option for "I didnt reroll"?

    Ok, technically I did, but then reversed the decision. When ESO first released, my main was going to be a khajiit templar. Templars had a lot of issues then, but the real reason I changed was because I hated having my weapon replaced by a big yellow toothpick every time I used class attacks. So, I deleted the templar to make a nightblade, since the nightblade at least looked like he was slicing with his daggers when he used surprise attack or ambush or death stroke.

    Of course, the nightblade has been my main since, but I've also remade my templar and have both characters up there now. To this day I have not gotten a sorceror or dragonknight past level 10 without giving up on it - so much for overpowered FOTM classes eh?

    Main is NB but I am slowly getting all the same achievements to my DK and at that point, DK will be my main. DK will be the best class till the end of time and it really can't be changed. Class skills are just way too good and you can pretty much kill anyone with any combination of skills while people can kill you only if they spec to kill DK and still they will have to really fight for it. It has been this way since launch and it will not change.

    I can't vote for anything, I just wanted to try every class.
    Plus I also love creating new characters in general (although the 8 slots could be 10 ;))
    It's fun playing around in the character creation window to see all the things that are possible to change and how different your characters can look like. And it's also fun starting from scratch again at level 1 (or 3, depends on playing the tutorial or not), actually gain real progress again, and even more: get the chance to make different decisions during quests.

    Ah, a prime example of the sunk cost fallacy.

    Use prepaid game time cards, so the time is paid for already and has no impact on future payments.

    Would it be somehow "better" to log off all together and ignore the game while the PvP servers lag, rather than making alternate characters to play around with and enjoy on the PvP servers after the lag clears?

    It is not like my decision will magically make the Cyrodiil servers less laggy regardless of my course of action.

    None of the above. My chosen class (NB) was so buggy I gave up on it. I didn't delete it, and it is now my main again, but I decided to let it rest somewhere around level 30 for months while trying the other classes for a while.

    I took a Templar and a Sorcerer through 1-50 on the other factions and had a good time. I have yet to try the DK, but quite frankly it sounds as if it's too easy to be enjoyable.

    Strange the category that is "winning" is NOT a "reroll", but just rolling Alts.

    I only rerolled 1 character, but that was due to the early weird darkness in the the character creation screen, that had misled me into rolling a real ugly toon, so rerolled to fix that.

    But, as for "alts"(non-reroll) rolled 15 "alts", play them all and my first toon too.

    It has weaknesses. You can overcome them, quite easily, but you can also leave them and let the class challenge you.

    DPS and Tanking with a NB and DK in end game is a blast.
    Healing with a templar also appears to be amazingly fun until now.
    After doing something for an extended amount of time being able to change roles and characters keeps the game fresh.

    None of th above...

    I always play multiple characters simultaneously, leveling them up together. That way:
    1. I get to see all class/race capabilities and don't have to guess at the veracity of the BS from the elitists in forums;
    2. Multiple characters get to contribute to the bank for crafting and can specialize in different crafts;
    3. I know what to expect from other classes in PvP;
    4. I know what to expect from other classes in PvE, especially in groups;
    5. I don't get bored with endgame grinds (raiding, forced grouping, killing the same bosses over and over, chasing gearsets like a mindless dummy) since I never get there.

    I prefer ranged Dps and originally my NB archer just didn't have the utility that I wanted, mostly just pew pew lethal arrow and knockback, AoE from bow is just awful. So sorc was then a better choice for me with the range but more utility and AoE. Too bad the Dps won't max out. The answer? a DK.

    The only time that I have rerolled was when I was trying to get a character with a specific look. I rerolled that specific character. Mind you, I have seven characters ranging from my V14 Imperial Templar to my recently created Khajiit Nightblade that I am working on for 1.6 as she is my thief. I have tried every faction and every class. Still haven't figured out how to do a good Dragon Knight with a background story that I liked. I can't find a good story for the class that isn't the same as one of my other characters and RPing the same gets old.

    I chose a templar at launch because in my head it was going to be just like playing a paladin in UO, and I liked that I would have good self-healing to use without a resto staff. I was very, very wrong about the paladin bit. I got pissed off with everyone expecting me to be a healer and with the state of stamina abilities compared to magic ones. Then people were saying how a ranged templar dps was quite effective and I just thought nope...I only wanted to use melee moves and never ever shake a pointy stick at anything to make it die, and bows are for [snip].

    I rerolled DK because 1h/s is the default weap choice, I saw a lot of them meleeing in PVP and no one ever assumed they were healers! And sweet baby jesus it's good fun to play in both pvp and pve. DK is now my main. DK for life!
