How do I DL ESO to a new computer?

Magnificat
Been playing ESO since beta weekends. My old computer died. Bought new one. How do I get it to DL the game I already bought? When I try to access my account it gives me an Error 500 message.

Try some of those tips. Once you get into your account then download it from your account.

Install it from the disk you purchased, it's much faster. Even so, you will still have to download about 30 GB of updates after installation. Have fun with that.....

I hope you have a decent internet connection then.

What died in your old PC?

    The HDD, the mainboard, GPU...?

Because if your HDD is still intact then why not use it in your new PC? You can just copy the files over and let the patcher do the work for you.

HDD is probably still good. Tech guy said it was probably the motherboard. But how do I turn on a computer that won't turn on?

If only it were that easy. It doesn't work that way. The game still has to be installed and have an entry in the registry in Windows.

I did everything suggested in the first answer above and none of it worked.

I can access my ESO account on my smartphone, but not my new computer. If that narrows down what the problem might be.

find someone to give the install exe to you, then download and install it while you fix your account problem, this wouldn't be piracy since you'd need an account to play the game anyway

    I think

It was that easy for me. I have ESO ( and all my other games for just this reason) installed on a separate drive from my OS. I recently reinstalled my OS, didn't have to redownload ESO. Just ran the installer, pointed it at the previous ESO installation, it did it's little number of installing vc, dx, whatever then was good to go. Took less time than a file repair.
