Guild Tabards White in Cyrodil

If you have a guild that is a different faction than you, their guild tabard will be blank white in cyrodil. For example, I have a guild that was made by an EP player. The guild is EP. I am ad, and when I wear that guild's tabard in cyrodil it is blank white. This should have been fixed back when update 3 came out. This issue has been around since then.

Are you sure the guild still exists? I also wore a tabbard, but i left the guild due to to few members. I still wore the tabbard but was plain white. When i unequiped it, i could not wear it again.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Yeah I'm sure the guild still exists. The tabard is only white in Cyrodil. I am AD and the guild is EP. But while in pve areas the tabard IS visible.

That may be working as intended. While I don't necessarily agree with it, it's never been suggested that it's a bug, and if it is intended, I can understand why they did so.

Why would it matter? No one determines someone's faction based off of tabard but they do determine it by the huge icon above their heads. If it is intended then it's nearsighted development, yet again.

Example scenario: someone has the icons turned off (or they are just not working, which happens quite a lot). A cross-faction guild has met up in Cyrodiil using /traveltoplayer to do whatever and they are all wearing the tabard. You can't tell who is friendly and who is an enemy, and you get killed.

That explains why one of my guild tabards works, and the other doesn't. Huh. I guess my side AD character will just wear that guild's colors into war then, if I ever get around to leveling her up.

It would be pretty awkward attacking another faction member, and then you notice they're wearing the same guild tabard. Heck, in large guilds, you could have two small armies of the same guild fighting one amongst themselves.
