You no longer get xp from completing Caldwell's Gold and Silver quests

Last night my Templar finally completed the V10 Bangkorai zone and I went to the Harborage to talk to Caldwell as directed.

Got the garbage blue necklace, just like before on my other two V10 characters, but this time there was no xp given...zero! Before, there was always a serious chunk of xp for both silver and gold completion.

What gives?

Oh come on, you get such a nice necklace from that quest.

That necklace was given to Cadwell by his 47th lover right before she was dragged off to the halls of torment. And he gave it to YOU.

Maybe read the post before responding.

First off I'm not done I still have 3.5 Vet levels to go and secondly, we previously received xp for finishing the Gold quest series and now we don't.

I'm asking why that is?

ZOS wants to leave anyone trying to level their characters in limbo until the VR ranks are finally removed. After all, they're not making any new VR levels, and if you didn't do your grind before the whiners nerfed the grinds, you'll never know the glory of being VR14.

Well I have been taking my VR13 toon through Cadwells gold and have completed Deshan and Shadowfen and im halfway through the Eastmarch quests and I have gone from VR13 45% to V13 71% So its like im getting no xp anyway its just that slow. I feel sorry for all low level VR charcters.

I was half way through VR1 before I even finished Molag Bol, and more then 50% through VR2 before I was even half way done with the first map on Cadwell's Silver.

However, I have 20 some add-ons and make sure I clear every single book, skyshard, quest (no matter how minor), and kill absolutely everything in every area I go in (not just the ones in my way, I kill everything that moves within say 40 clicks)

I'm not really even bothering to try to level my main (VR4) now. I go get skyshards and lorebooks and that's about it. In the meantime, I'm leveling alts until ZoS gets their act together and gets the Champion System implemented.

I just finished silver today at VR6 and got 4990 xp for it.

I believe I got almost 100k xp when I finished the silver prior to the 1.5 patch and something similar for the gold.

Yup. Welcome to VR Hell OP.

I don't really try to level VR ranks anymore since there is no faster way to do it other than questing and as good as the quests are in this game, 150 levels worth of them is too darn much for me.
