Has anything changed with ESO and Steam?

Hi there!

Background about me and ESO:
I was part of ESO beta. I prepurchased the collector's edition (love my statuette on my desk at work). But due to work, family, moving across country, etc., I didn't play much for the first 6 months; surprisingly doesn't feel like I wasted the money either. I just renewed for another 6 months and started playing. I still love the game despite the complaints I see in reviews, forums, ingame, and else where. Nothing I've experienced has been a show stopper for me. I'm starting to level a main and contemplating some addon coding.

During a lull in my grinding, I went in to my Steam account yesterday to check for other games' updates (TSW, Neverwinter, etc.) and look for Fall sale. I was mildly surprised to see Steam added ESO some time ago while I was not gaming. I have other Bethesda games through Steam, so was not completely surprised but definitely happy to see ESO there. But then I learn I cannot copy/paste my existing game keys in to Steam.

Searching the forum there was a lot of talk back in July timeframe with people unhappy about not getting the full Steam integration if we purchased outside of Steam. Seems to have the Steam experience with ESO, we have to buy another copy of the game?

Has this changed? If not, when will it change?

I too would love to have the full Steam integration: easily chat, share, review, pump up how awesome ESO is on Steam, play with and get friends involved, etc.

ZOS -- Please provide an update on the topic. Don't bother telling me how to add as a non-Steam game... that is NOT what we want.

Thanks,
