Do you think Alliance points should carry over to each of your characters?

Similar to how the Champion system will take into account all the XP earned by each of your characters. So say you have a Centurion, Corporal, Tyro, all of the alliance points earned on each of those characters would be consolidated in one rank which would be displayed on all of your characters. Just interested to see what people think
