Should there be more to do in PvP?

Just wanted to know everyones opinions on this, but should there be more things to do in PvP other than ganking or zerging? All that there really is that benefits your alliance is sieging which becomes a massive lag fest, and I want to stay away from the lag.

(Yes I know imperial city is coming out but there should be more out in the world.)

Some things I thought that would be a cool/neat addition to pvp is stuff that attracts solo/small groups to but can still help their alliance, these could be caravans, or random scattered resources

Caravans
My friend and I thought of an idea of caravans, they would randomly pop up by the side of the road in random areas and you can talk to, and you can escort them back to the gate in your alliance (not the gate protecting your scroll).

once you escort the caravan back you could be rewarded with AP and give X amount of points to your alliance depending on if you stole the caravan from another faction and how far you traveled with it. (If you find enemies escorting a caravan and you kill them, the caravan would swap paths to head back to your alliances drop off zone)

This could also bring some new pvp equipment specifically for caravans, they could be things like bringing back mercenaries, small barricades to stop enemy caravans, etc.

Resources

Wouldn't be as 'robust' or entertaining as escorting a Caravan through enemy territory into yours, but it would be cool if there was mini resources around cyrodiil like farms, and lumbermills that wouldn't take much to take, and would contribute to your alliance.

Having these small objectives in pvp would be pretty cool, and allow the use of small groups and solo to contribute more to the alliance, it would also allow alliances that have little to no keeps a chance to continue bringing in points so they don't fall completely behind the other alliances, it could also help them catch up to the alliance in rank #1.

I personally would really enjoy having smaller things added to pvp, I do enjoy sieging but it can get old at times, and the lag is annoying. Also when I'm with a large group I don't really feel like I'm helping out and I can't see my build taking shape. It would also really appeal to those who like to play with a small group of friends and for those who want a arena.

All they've done is remove from PVP and give PVE all the updates (Vet Dungeons,Dailies and a New Trial). Mages (was needed), Camp (although its coming back). But PVP is a PVP zone first and foremost. I don't want milk drinkers in an active zone feeding the enemy. They just need to add some things for PVP, not PVE in cyrodiil.

PvP is not a place.... Should there be more to do in Cyrodiil? Sure, more is always better.

I've been saying this from the start. Its why I dont participate in actual pvp in cyrodil much.

because I just dont like that large battles that will fill me with graphical lag, and all the focus on keeps essentially being the only focus for anything in pvp.

why not? anything that will allow people to avoid the horrendus lag fests... i mean keep battles:)

at least blackwater blade has close to no lag. still zerg blobs though.

adding small things like caravans will increase the amount of pvp throughout cyrodiil, you wont only find people at a keep or running from keep to keep.

I've ran aimlessly in the wilderness in pvp and never find anyone, I'd love for that to change.

Once Imperial City is added there will be three? locations of sewers that enter into the city. I'm assuming those will be active.

im still confused about that... does that mean players can enter the IC even if they dont own the required keeps? or does that lead to the PvP arena part of it?

I'm probably wrong but I think I remember reading or hearing somewhere that they wanted fighting in the streets of the city as well?...I'm not totally for sure to be honest.

Yes, they said that alliances can control districts (in Oblivion they weren't very big) and its going to be close quarters, meaning impulse batswarm spam until server crashes, which doesn't sound like much fun.

And seeing its the center of Cyrodiil most people will be attracted to it so its going to be a mess.
