Have they fixed Veteran Experience Points?

Hi

I had gone back and started a new character after maxing out my first one.

I got to veteran class before I even finished Cold Harbor but when I did, and moved on to the first veteran levels I eventually realised that I wasn't gaining much in experience points.

When I was nearing the end of the level 1 area and hadn't gotten even half way to level 2 I quit playing because I didn't want to get farther behind.

I had that issue with my first character. because I had missed things.
This time I use Destinations and finished everything.

Now I'm playing a new character and don't want to go back to my veteran until I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be able to advance his level when I play.

So does anyone know if this has been fixed?

Mike

I asked the same question from tech support and here is their answer:

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team.

I am sorry to hear that you did not find any answer regarding the veteran rank. I understand your frustration regarding this situation and I will do my best to provide you with the best information.

With the release of patch 1.5.4, the amount of XP required to earn a Veteran Rank has been reduced to 1,000,000 XP.

If you had 999,999 XP before the 1.5.4 patch, you'll just need to gain 1 XP to rank up and properly sync your level with the total accrued XP.

If you had over 1,000,000 XP towards the next level, you will automatically level up to the correct Veteran Rank, and any additional XP will rollover once 1.5.4 is released.

The UI issue where your bar shows that you need 4,000,000 XP to gain a rank should not affect your leveling and will be addressed in a future patch.

I hope this answer will help you understand better the situation. If this is not the case or if you have any further question. Please do not hesitate to contact us again as we would be happy to help you find answer for it.

In the mean time, I wish you a good day and hope to hear from you soon.

    Kindest Regards,

    The Elder Scrolls Online team

If you use an addon like FTC, the correct number of experience points are displayed.

Fingers crossed it actually fixes things like they stated they would.
