new game+ (not vet)

so I was thinking recently that I wish I had the ability to change little things on my character. not the class mind you. but maybe race and appearance. (I don't consider race to be that big mechanically, and lore wise I know more then I did starting this game and wish I could change it)

so I was thinking of a new game + mode

you keep:
-class
-vet rank (when you hit 50 you revert to your previous vet rank)
-pvp rank
-skill points and skyshards (they are considered collected and don't reset)
achievements
-skill and class rank, if they require a prerequisite to unlock however you must complete that prerequisite before gaining access to the skill tree (guilds, vamp, WW, etc.)

what happens:
-revert back to level 1 with the choice of going to CH or skipping
-choose starting alliance (DC, Pact, AD)
-choose race and appearance
-all quests reset
-maybe even get a passive like the pvp bonuses for doing it once?

now the why?
im kind of a completionist and while I have multiple characters I really only play one, and there is so much that I would love to do again, but a lot I dread doing again, such as the vet grind, collecting all the lore books, sky shards (especially cyrodil) leveling skills all over again (I have maxed out nearly every weapon line on one character)

but I would love to re play through the game with all my skills and gear and make the choices that I would like to make instead of the ones im limited to because of lack of skills or gear or whatever.

anyway food for thought. would still love a race change service (I know power gamers will power game but im just unhappy with my choice but invested too much time and effort to simply start over.)

I really wanted an account-wide achievement list, but I really like your idea.

I hate whenever race change comes up and people say, "You should have thought out your choice more thoroughly." And I'm just thinking, "How am I supposed to know what effect my race has on my gameplay until I actually reach max level?" And by then, I don't feel like re-rolling.

But apparently people will cry if something that doesn't affect them is implemented to benefit the people that want it, like a purchasable race change. Still, I like your idea better. It's not that I don't want to do the quest grind in other zones. I just want to enjoy it. Being able to re-roll while keeping skill points would make questing in other zones fun without feeling like a waste of time.

To be honest, I don't see how this is different from vet ranks. The only new option is playing your own alliance's quests again with the same character.

So you wanna be Superman. Valid wish. Ridiculous, though.

Why are you commenting when you didn't even read the post?
