No credit for the Undaunted Pledge

I just spent more time than I care to admit doing one of today's undaunted dungeons (darkshade caverns). I killed everything in that dungeon, and not a single quest objective from the undaunted quest registered.
My toon is VR14, but the lowest level person in the group was VR1. We set the VR1 as group leader and then went in, so the dungeon was scaled to VR1 (a kindness to friends of ours). Is there some kind of level restriction that I don't know about? Is this whole dungeon scaling thing a farce, and is it time to rage quit since I can't play a multiplayer game with my friends?
Another group member (VR11) had the same issue. The VR6 group member had everything count fine for him. Unless this has something to do with the level differences, I can't figure out why the quest bugged.
Any insight is appreciated.

✭Undaunted achievements are a lot easier to get now then before patch 1.5, as you can scale the instance to V1 then replace the V1 with a V14 and have four V14 clear the V1 instance within 10 mins.
But the timed veteran dungeons achievements are not registering for scaled veteran dungeons but the rest of the achievements should be. (not sure if its a bug, it was listed in patch 1.5.4 but I don't think its fixed)
Which achievements did you not get that the others did? Or you talking about the pledge quest? (very different to undaunted dungeon achievements)
Just a shame that all the players who did the achievements before patch 1.5 are stuffed and can not get the Undaunted exp.Edited by Natjur on November 17, 2014 12:33AM -
whsprwind✭✭✭The pledge for DC yesterday was for "normal" mode. Did you enter the veteran mode by any chance?

✭The pledge was for normal mode, and we did the dungeon in normal mode. I hadn't thought to specifically check for that, so by coincidence we managed to get that much right (which means I'll have to check carefully if I ever do these again).
The only thing that didn't register was the daily undaunted pledge. I have done and completed the dungeon before, the 'pledge quest' was the only one available. 6 boss monsters identified to defeat, 3 required and 3 optional. I killed them all and it didn't even register.
I already reported it as a bug, no feedback so far. I was hoping the community brain trust might know something.
