What do you think should ESO adopt?

Greetings, adventurers. Shedelin, Scribe to Lord Arena25 here.

This one already knows they are planning to adopt the Justice System, the Champion System, among other things, but since this one and Arena25 comes from a whole background of games, this one wants to ask you what they should add.

Note: Fixing technical things (like Customer Support, lag, and bugs) are NOT something ESO should adopt. Also, if ZeniMax already announced something that will be put in (like the Justice System), it's considered as "adopted already."

What do you think should ESO adopt? 57 votes

Chronicles/Scenarios (they both are the same, just different names for different MMO games)
10% 6 votes
Mini PvP games (like Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and other game modes requiring only 5-20 players)
29% 17 votes
Master Dungeons (in RIFT, there are three modes of dungeons: Standard (story), expert (intended for high level players) and master (pretty much expert for expert).
0% 0 votes
PvP Arena (which is a place where it's a free for all deathmatch. No teams, no friends, just pure killing).
7% 4 votes
A Companion Quest system (where you can ally with an NPC and send him to complete one of your quests. Good for people with tight schedules IRL. This has been recently adopted by RIFT, who stole it from SWTOR)
8% 5 votes
A mentoring system (from RIFT, this allows high level players to gain XP in low level zones)
17% 10 votes
I have another thing ESO should adopt...(please elaborate below)

Shedelin, are you sure you didn't turn insane?

Small-scale PvP is something I have been dying for since launch. Arena is always a fantastic idea (organized arena), but only when the game has been normalized/balanced further.

Shedelin voting on his own poll...

This one has to say Mini PvP games. Sure, Cyrodiil is vast and would-be adventurers encounter something every day, but eventually, players start to get an itch, like "Been there, done that" or "This one has done all this already...what do I do now?"

Eventually, you get that bad taste in your mouth that says "Boring".

Now imagine that you had a King of the Hill battleground in the Imperial City which could mean the difference between victory or defeat in Cyrodiil...would that entice you?

Stability. New PvP content is pointless if they don't fix the lag/latency issues.

I agree with you, Evergnar, but I'm not asking about technical things...

Sailing, Underwater exploration, and Trade Runs ala ArcheAge. Without the immature player base (ESO is already good in that department), and no need for Full Open PvP, just give us a chance to craft stuff, load up a pack guar, and travel across Tamriel to sell it.

But Sailing and Underwater exploration are my main wants lol.
Falls-With-Grace ~ Shadowscale (Argonian Night Blade)
Selique Lasra ~ Captain, Smuggler, Swashbuckler (Redguard Templar)
Chases-Comets ~ Shellback Warrior (Argonian Dragon Knight)
Slissix-Kir ~ Swamp Shaman (Argonian Sorcerer)
    Hail Sithis..

Interesting choice my scribe had for a new poll...although he forgot to mention the other half of mentoring that was recently adopted by RIFT...and that was sidekicking, where low level players can mentor up to assist someone who needs a little more firepower...

Now, I have to go with Chronicles/Scenarios...reason is, it allows you to experience some raid content at a lesser difficulty without the need for acquiring a full 24-man raid...

My second choice is the arena...because nothing beats a good old-fashioned bloodbath...although it is good only in moderation...

A Foundry-type system, like what Cryptic has done for Neverwinter and STO, or what SWG did with their Storytelling system.

I like the idea behind this. There are many things to be learned from other games and while ESO certainly has tried to copy some of them, yet sadly fell slightly short more often then not... Although it's not in the list, I think the biggest boost for group content would be to scale players to the dungeon and not the dungeon to the players like gw2 does, it's just a much better system then what we have.

Seconded. I loved huttball to death, and would probably still be playing swtor if they had finally made warzones f2p like they announced years ago...

For the record, City of Heroes came out with the "mentoring" before RIFT. It was called sidekicking. xD

I would have to say mini pvp would work well from your list, and it could even be tied into cyrodil by saying that the mini pvp counts towards say control of say 3 trade/supply routes into cyrodil (ie one for ad vs dc, dc vs ep, and ep vs ad).

Agreed. Modding is one of the cornerstones of the TES experience (at least, my TES experience), and I'd love the opportunity to craft my own adventures for others to enjoy (or for me to enjoy with my friends).

Something like SWG's storyteller system where you can buy props, NPCs, special effects, all sorts of things to build player-driven content.

I suggested Mini PVP in a poll the other week, so it's a no-brainer for me.

As much I loved the Companion system in SWTOR it was only for low level and didn't allow us to play Raids with them or dungeons (last time I played at least) so this wouldn't help max level players then and I guess we need stuff besides raid content for those who are in the higher ranks.

Because of this I vote for a housing system, similar to SWG or Ultima. You can have your own vendor, you are able to craft boxes that work as an alternative to a bank in town, you can have a garden to harvest provision materials, maybe even breed horses and craft furniture.

This would give players in the lower levels but also on max a lot of content and it would add a nice RP feature as well.

I believe that making craglorn quests/delves ENTIRELY group based was asinine. I personally have no problem grouping with people. Hell, 9 times outta 10 I enjoy myself. The issue is not everyone wants to be forced to group to reach max level in a timely manner. Plus to top it off there are hardly ever any groups going out right now. Everyone seems to be ganged up in capitals to do pledges.
