a few minutes ago, I was a Veteran Rank 7. I had just completed a quest when suddenly, I was bumped up to Rank 8...except I wasn't even close to leveling. I like to think that I'm in on important glitches/changes, but perhaps I've missed something? is this somehow normal? I logged out and then in again, but it is unchanged. :cold_sweat: I apologize if this has been discussed before.

it might also be worth mentioning that upon completing the dopey little quest, I saw my experience bar go up the usual inch that it does, but then suddenly reverted to me being at the beginning of Rank 7 and then that was when I was just bumped up suddenly to 8. so. I'm. I'm feeling a lot of things right now. :cold_sweat:

    Might be related to phasing out vp. Was this the first quest you did since downloading the latest patch yesterday?

    nope, I've done plenty of quests since the patch.

    VRs are incorrectly displaying 4m exp required when they've been changed to 1m required. Mentioned in the patch notes.

    did you happen to hit 1mil xp? The ui still shows you need 4mil for a level but its just a ui bug and you will level at a mil.

    nope, I've done plenty of quests since the patch.
    Then it's most likely a bug related to that change. Adjustments like this are usually accompanied by a lot of bugs, and they had a lot. But I'd be surprised if in the history of software even a single case exists where such a change got implemented without causing even a single bug.

    Make sure to run it by them in a bug report so it doesn't get overlooked.

    best in slot: is the armor, weapon, clothing look, pet, or no pet, jewelry, race, class, skill choices, amount of DPS, and skin color best fit to you and the way you wish to play and makes you feel good and performs what YOU think it should be.

    worst in slot: what you read in zone chat, and forum comment, and forum thread, and you tube video, and live streamer advice, and class rep advice, and guild chat advice, and whisper told you to wear, and use for skill, and dress like, and use for weapon and armor.
