JUST an IDEA

This is just an idea, probably doesn't follow the LORE of ESO but oh well.

Anyone think it would be cool if there was random world boss spawn in Cyrodiil that needs a raid to kill. like 20+ players with HP of e.g 400k? That can randomly spawn ANYWHERE in PvP. Achievements for different bosses, Titles and maybe Dye colours and possibly rare loot or armour sets. Locations of where it was spotted last would be shouted out across the entire zone and the race is on! people and different alliences fighting or interrupting in groups trying to take down the world boss. Or have a flying dragon like you saw in Skyrim that was a pain in the butt to follow on horse, as it was faster than you whilst trying to see where it lands. Just an idea to make the PvP area more interesting. think it would be pretty cool.

ESO, "play your way", As long as its light armor and staff

Main v9 Bosmer NB Archer (Can't hit v14 due to ZOS screwing with XP)

I'm not in PvP yet... but that would be BA!!! I can just see a battle going on, people trying to take down a keep and then some monster BA boss spawns in the middle of them and starts taking people out so both sides have to team up and take that B***ch down!! Sounds like hella fun :)

I've always thought it would be cool to have random world bosses that could drop some really good stuff. Making factions fight over them. I like your idea. I also think it would be cool if keeps under attack also had a chance of having an anchor open up above them or sometimes above the attackers. completely random chance. I used to play a game called Aion and there were forts in what was called the abyss. 2 factions would fight over these forts. Every once in awhile though (actually a lot) the third unplayable faction would launch a giant ship that would make its way towards the fort that was vulnerable. Both factions would end up fighting not only each other but also the 3rd faction, since the 3rd faction could actually capture the fort as well. Seeing that this game has the deadra invading nirn it would be a PERFECT idea to have a battle between factions going on and suddenly deadra appear, also trying to take the fort. It would make for some super interesting battles I think. With all the trailers for this game showing factions fighting amongst each other and the deadra it only makes sense!!!

400k hp would be too low for 20 people. There are already bosses with many times that amount in trials and trials are only for 12 people. 4 million would be closer to what the boss would need

That exists already, they're called Dragonknights!

Yeah 4 million HP probably would be better for PvP as there could be massive clash of players. I doubt ZOS would read this and throw it on the idea board thought.

As sad as it is, I think you're right :( this would bring such a cool element to the game though so....

Maybe this will get some of their attentions and they'll like the idea ;) I got yo back OP!! ;D Plus, I know if I had an awesome idea like this one then I would want ZOS to actually look at it, so maybe a few of them will actually read this and consider it :) Let's get this in the works and maybe get it in the game before I get Veteran Ranks!! (I'm talking a few months at the least so there's time)

Not to mention, something like this being put into the game would attract competitive guilds. Who can down it first, maybe using as fewer players as possible etc...A vast amount of XP given for killing it to help those still leveling characters. Re-spawns couldn't be fast obviously and could be on a 6 hour loop or longer so people appreciate it. There could be a number of creatures/mobs ranging from

    Giants
    Dragons
    Daedra
    Mammoths
    Gargoyles
    Atronachs

but they have to be BIG! oh...and there health bar has to look UBER COOL!

@Blinks I agree 100% but at the same time, I think they should split Cyrodil a few ways, lets just say 3 for the sake of keeping to the rule of threes... but what if they have a 2 or 3 hour loop, and it randomly chooses the zone to spawn in, and then randomly chooses which boss to spawn in, and they could have multiple types of spawns... either it spawns a huge boss, or a huge group of mobs that's basically an small army to take out? I don't know about atronachs, gargoyles or mammoths, but I'm also kind of just commenting again to get to 100 comments lol ;)

The Dragon would probably be stretching the lore a bit, but no reason in the lore we can't have a big boss, one that takes dozens of players to take down. They were fun in SWTOR, even if Trapjaw and that Nightmare were scary tough.

True, a dragon would be stretching it... maybe they could use the guy (forgot his name) in DC who reincarnated the werewolf guy (obviously I haven't played DC in a while lol) and have him ride a dragon of bones that he is reincarnating??? That's the only really "lore-friendly"-ish way to do dragons I think... but big scary dremora bosses?!?! Totally lore friendly!!

Angrof the Gravesinger resurrected Faolchu, a dragon might be a bit too strong for him. But a big Daedra, totally, maybe a cross between a Titan and a Daedroth, or a thirty foot Atttronach.

Not just you! Like, come on... how am I causing spam when I'm just tagging a bunch of people in a post I think would be cool and is important!

I will give them this though, they said they understand what I was trying to accomplish... but by the code of conduct it is considered spam and maybe I should have picked a few people I think would've best been able to handle it... So I asked why it's considered spam and how am I supposed to know what each ZOS employee in the forum's job is? I figured, if I tell them all then I've gotten it to the right people... plus some wrong people but those wrong people still might care...

@Blinks maybe you should make a poll and try to get a lot of votes for it, I'm sure 90% of people would say "Yes, this sounds BA!!!" Then we can show majority wants it rather than just the few people who were curious enough to click on the "JUST an IDEA" title ;)

I honestly don't see why not, it's good in theory and I like the concept. That being said Dragons are currently a no-no so that aside it seems rather solid.

Me and a few friends were actually thinking of something like that. Having some crazy Generals of Molag'Bal to roam around in Cyrodiil, it would be cool to be on a keep wall then out of no where a massive daedra taller then the keep wall just walks by.

That or have roaming armies of daedra running around that could possibly attack npcs at keeps or maybe take resources. Though many wouldn't be to happy about that.

Having world bosses in Cyrodiil would only cause more PvP to happen, and that's what PvPers should want. If there is a update on screen (kind of like when a faction takes a keep or resource) that says something vague about a beast roaming near XY coordinates like "A giant deadra has been seen wondering near Aleswell keep!" Everyone sees it from all factions. As long as they made the drops epic from these world bosses you damn well know all factions would race to it to try and kill it. Thus causing more PvP. Heck, if the loot is good enough even PvErs might show up. The more the merrier!
