Hircine Gift Quest Impossible

After weeks of ocasional looking I finally got Lycantropy and went to do the quest to become Werewolf with my main VR14 character. Bosses in that quest (which are VR12, so 2 ranks lower) hit for solid 450+ damage while my werewolf turned character can hit for 100+. How the heck is it possible to defeat those boss mobs when they have 8K health while I barely have 3K - it takes 5 or 6 hits to kill me, while it takes me about 80 hits to kill them, specially when it comes to trolls that recover health really fast.

I asked the above question to the in game custommer support and I must say I'm really disapointed for not receiving a single answer after 12 hours. Whenever I had problems before, the custommer support was always fast (like 5 min fast or faster) and I always praised them for it. I did solve the problem on my own by sort of cheating and after an hour or so of re-logging until I finally got the mammoth that is easy to kill because it's slow and dumb.

My point and question was - why did ZOS put the obviously over powered mobs in that solo dungeon? I'm paying for entertainment, not frustration and I'm pretty sure most players feel the same.

Something needs to be done with that quest.

When you zone in, one of three bosses spawn.

A Troll, a giant Snake or a Mammoth.

All three have attacked which you can dodge\run out of.
Sure, 8k health NPC via a 3k player who only has one light\heavy attack is harder then before but it doable.

I found the troll easier now has he spends most of its like doing an AOE attack which you just stand out of or go behind him. Also, even tho he regens, he dropped dead at 50% health. (so I guess I did X damage and he recovered but the quest still updates and he just dies)

Most of our guild who are V14 have picked up WW form again (for the 15% stamina regen) and they are finding it a littler harder, but still very doable

Or a nonboss level Frost Troll - take the frost troll. Easiest to kill out of all of them.

Mammoth is the easiest to kill - you just have to stay behind it and you'll hardly ever get hit.

Anyway, the point is these bosses shouldn't be difficult but still doable through some tricks or having to re-log just to get one mob you can kill. They should all be killable. A bit more challenging, but just as easy to kill as other boss mobs in other quests. Ballance is clearly out of the window on this one.

Also, still no reply from custommer support.

I agree silly quest the Vamp one is not like that, and if you get the snake you might as well just exit

I had werewolf in the beginning of ESO, and then got rid of it. I'm V14, and went back to lycanthropy a few days ago, just to check it out. My v14 is a templar healer, but I was wearing 5 medium pieces of the archers mind dps set, and 1 random heavy legs for additional armor and health. I killed the v14 frost troll and got the wolf back. I gota stress that blocking the troll's attacks is a must, and just get out of his AOE smash attack. He is very predictable and and it is possible to beat Hircine's Gift quest as a v14.

Incorrect, Frost Troll is the easiest - even if it does hit you, the damage it does is laughable. And it's not a Boss level monster so it'll die WAY faster than the Mammoth.

Plus you don't have to run in circles until nauseous.

Just Pounce, roar, pounce heavy attack, light light light, roar, repeat.

I think WW roar doesn't make any effect on bosses because they are immune to this.

Because of that both trolls are impossible to kill on low level characters, for most players I know, giant snake is probably possible (I tried only once and died very quickly) when both Mammoth and Wamasu are the easiest to kill even by lvl5 player.

It seems the same problems occurs year by year, so why do we need to face the trolls still in the game? Facing troll when we play on lvl5-30 (checked by me) has no sense at all, and all players I know immediately quit the quest area after they realize it's thee troll.

From other hand, awaiting for another boss to respawn out of quest area simply kills the immersion of this quest, especially that we need to go out and in and listen to quest speeches again and again.

So I'd like to ask, dear ZOS please consider either removing trolls from this quest or making them less movable (or nerf them in other way). I'd like to face trolls but have a better chance to survive!
