You do find yourself in at least one dwemer ruin during the fighters guild questline. But other than that there are none.

So to get the new motif they completely alienate an entire faction? Its not like they couldn't have chosen a different way for us to get them, they didn't HAVE to put them only in dwemer ruins....

this complaint is silly, is it "not fair" that you have to wait until vet 1-5 for a bunch of motifs and then wait even longer until the vet 6-10 for the rest? perhaps you would like them to just mail you a copy.

Its not even a complaint, but thanks for your assumption. Im a vet so it doesn't effect me in the slightest. I dint realize until today that there are no Dwemer ruins in all of AD. No, its not an even playing field if one faction does not have access to a game feature.

No, but as a player this is actually the best option, I can keep deleting and remaking the alt as they over level it, and keep getting scrap as well as pages. Honestly if you're not doing this, you are probably wasting your time even if you are EP...

Thats not really the point. I know, and do go to the other factions to farm. The point is, that I shouldn't have to. Thats all.

First of all, no one is alienated. Everyone can get the Dwemer pages. Some may have access to getting them at a lower level than others, but that doesn't mean that AD has no chance of getting them at all.

I am curious about something though. Can you link me to the thread that you created when information about Nirncrux was released in which you complained about how unfair it was that Nirncrux was only available to people who could get to Craglorn?

After all, Zos _must_ have done that just to alienate everyone who has an alt character under level 50, right?

Indeed, an interesting drop appears that has relevant ties to lore and all some of you can do is whine about it. So once they release the Ayleid motif we can expect the same response from some of you because that motif will heavily favor the AD?

I think they have done something really cool with the way the Dwemer motif was released.

If I were a new player, who just bought the game today, and made an AD character, I would not have access to the Dwemer pages. If I made a character in either of the other two factions, I would have access to the pages within minutes. Im not really sure why you are even arguing this. Its a fact.

You are misreading this if you think this is a complaint thread. It is very cool. I just didn't realize that there are no Dwemer in AD. Its really not that big of a deal. Just doesn't make since. But w/e...I'm not a new player. I have my pages.

Nope neither of us made any thread about that, why would that make sense to you? Thats meant for Vet players. The motifs are meant for any level. It just doesnt make sense to me, why they chose to do it this way.

Im curious as to why people have to be such smartass's about a question, a simple why is it like this? People get so hostile for no reason.

Look at it another way, from 50 on you have access to the most mobs that drop loot to get dwemer scraps as all the ruins are lvl 45 plus

Not sure if this balances out the having to wait a month to start farming but well it's another way to look at the coin.

And lets be fair you're going to be 50+ a lot longer than you're are <50...

It is like this because of the lore. I has already been answered, and work arounds given. And if you were a new player you wouldn't have access to the pages right away anyways because you need to be 9/9

Depends on the type of player you are. My crafter was 9/9 long before I hit vet. Obviously we can all find a loophole or work around, thats not the point, and this thread is a waste of time.

but you're not a new player, which it where the concern was, and if you go through the trouble of having crafting alts, I fail to see the problem with a farming alt.

They didn't have the motif when they launched, and I think they though Dwemer metal would satisfy our Dwemer needs, they were wrong.

I have characters in all three factions, but I do feel sorry for anyone levelling up an AD character.

Not only that OP, but it gets even "better". At least in the vet ruins, 90% of the containers are empty (a bug that they have known about forever)!

But on the positive side, this oversight will encourage people to make EP/DC characters. So maybe the population imbalance in PvP will be resolved.

It's yet another reminder to not bother with new content and such until at least a week or two after its initial release, because nothing seems to ever be very well tested or even thought out, or so it seems anyway. And I for one am tired of paying to be part of ZOS' QA.

There really shouldn't be faction imbalances like this, and game companies take pains to make sure there aren't. For instance, in PvP, devs usually have the exact same distance from starting area to a keep or capture point. Especially if they have instanced scenarios.

I'm fairly sure it's just an oversight.
