Our group died to this about 4 times before we figured it out, volcanic rune was very helpful, veil of blades + sap essence, Templars can use nova and blinding flashes, sorcerers use the ae root and negate. The key was mostly having your ults charged and knowing it was coming.

V14 - Vet Spindleclutch - Praxin Douare. This boss was beyond keyboard breaking for a while, but we got it after reforging a group from failed ones and trying and swapping out members (sort of a half pug). Sorry if this is non-sensicle, but proud of the group run we ended up finishing. We managed to finish the rest of the dungeon for a gold key too. Was my first time in the Vet version of this dungeon. Last boss was 20x easier than the ghost boss.

Fight starts with about 30 spiders that will overtake anyone within a few seconds of spawning. Even full aoe nukedown will still get you killed if you're near the entrance of the room. After clearing this, a Spider boss spawns, followed by two other bosses on a timer. A fourth, main boss is all the while going through phases shooting bolts, tri-floor missiles, casting heavy mana burn DoTs on a player and a ring that kills either the player it's cast on or nearby party members if they touch the edge. A few times I got knockbacked by the boss while in the ring for an insta-kill. It's a lot to take in.

If you're having trouble getting through the VR14 Vets, but your group has an inkling that you may be able to do it, stick with it.. they are actually do-able even if it feels like against all odds.

    Thanks team

*You're also free to laugh at my loadout and or lack of addon usage. I was the main healer.

Sorry what ? This was one of most esiest Vet dungeons and also Ghost boss was the easiest boss i ever saw in ESO.
Compared to everything else in Scaled vet dungeons, this boss is just a trashtalking kido.

If it make you feel better ZOS .. i was a full time pvper / raid tues and thurs...
was getting kinda bored... i am having lots of fun with the new dun system.. and i really like the new 2 set pieces.. they even look badass. im happy to have more to do. on side note tho... as a daily .. casual players as you can see wont like hardcore gameplay... should knock down the norm versions a bit so they have something to do.
but dont forget to take away the cool gear from it tho... just give them the undaunted points..... people may not know it...
but they feel alot better about themselves when they standing in a full
set of awesome gear they ""worked"" for. and thats not something you want to take away from your players.

Short guide for this fight below.
    Wave One.
Have group stand at the cave entrance, back a bit from the tank who will put cinderstorm or a ground slow like caltrops at the point where all the spiders will converge into a bottle neck on their way to the group. Drop Volcanic runes, or Talons if you are a DK, blazing spear for Templars. Keep Cinderstorm down for group defense because it gives the spiders a 30% miss chance. AOE them from the close side. Basically you are slowing them into a clump, keeping them disoriented or missing, while AOEing the front portion of them.

    Wave Two
Move into the room and use the same strategy for the small spiders and burn down the big one.

    Wave Three
These adds spawn in an oval shape. The far side of the oval has healers. Have everyone stack there so the mobs converge on the healers and aoe them down. If you have the dps to burst down the bosses this fight is easy.

    Boss.
Have the tank take 1 of the minibosses and the main boss to far side of the cave. Have him reflect tank the main boss. The other group members will dps down one of the minibossess at a time. The reason the tank is taking the miniboss away from the group is so that the group does not get hit by any of the main boss ground waves. That way they can focus on killing the minibosses one at a time without fear of other mechanics (with the exception of the red donuts).
