Let your disgust known, people. If you don't bark then they will keep doing what they are doing. Getting exp boost for at least 7 days is a reasonable request with all the "mistakes" they've been doing for the last past months.

As vocal as I've been , I actually voted no...If this was indeed a bug/error ( which i don't believe it to be ) one week(end) worth of minimal exp for an mmo is very trivial. Of course that being said, I certainly would not turn down a 2x experience weekend boost or an ingame potions ( Vet 1 req ) for 2hr Double xp.

Nothing. So why go around crying about it? Leveling is one of the more fun things to do and I'm always sad when it ends. This just prolongs my joy.

No chance of compensation. They don't really view it as a screw up. They just massivly changed the rules and we have to live with it or play another game. I choose the latter, but since they just took my sub money I'll post here till it runs out lol.

Ugh. What part of removing the veteran ranks do people not understand? How can they fix what is intended so that the game can be fixed. There is no need to 'get to the top' any more as if you have hit VR1, you are already at the top. Anything else is going to be champion points. Play the game instead of grinding so you can be "special". Leveling to 50 has NOT changed. 50 is now the maximum rank for everyone. Those of us who have VR14 characters have a slight bonus with the additional 14 attribute points. It took me months to get through the quests as I played the game instead of grinding to the maximum in hours. This will help remove the elitist BS which will improve the game greatly. If you want to be "special" then join the armed forces and be a real hero instead of living in mommy's basement worrying about your status on a game.

All the changes indicate that the Champion system will be Vet. Ranks renamed.
Giving a skill point and an attribute point clearly shows the direction isnt changing!
Personally someone, anyone, stepping up to the mark and showing leadership rather than evasion on all the issues and the direction forward, is what is needed not more spineless marketeers hobbling everything!

No, you need a better reading comprehension. Vet ranks are getting REMOVED at the LAST stage. Update 5 is not the LAST STAGE of the revamp.

I would like an xp boost... but it would never happen. Errors like this are almost never compensated across most MMOs due to the nature of a constantly changing game. Just comes with the territory and compensation would add more work for the devs to do on top of everything else. It would be nice, I'd certainly welcome it, I'd also be very surprised if it happened.

But seeing as there happens to be some discrepancy as to the devs intentions with this... they have it listed in the Known Issues with 1.5 and believe they have a fix for it with 1.5.3.

Now I see it as a massively stupid purposefull revision that they are trying to parse as best they can in the face of well deserved outrage. This was reported on the PTS, so ZOS was aware of the "issue" when the patch went live. This is no bug its a "feature"

Cheap excuses from ZOS. They have been promising faster leveling but all they did was make the game even more of a huge grind fest than before.

If that is why is it lag as hell in Vulkhel Guard and in Grahtwood on the Aldmeri Dominion side for if you say that population well drop i can say i don't see on those 2 place and zone channel is busy like hell in both of those zone atm i have not this bad lag since beta and early access in ESO which in my book mean that more people play now then last few weeks before this last patch.

This is a game for entertainment. The people who created it are humans. They possibly make mistakes when changing things. Give them some time it will get fixed. Why is it everyday someone makes a thread about how the games is either broken or someone is wronged cause of some issue that they think can have some Harry potter wand waved over it and it's fixed. It takes time to find the issue in the code, then the have to figure out how to fix it.

I'm not a very demanding person, I just want them to admit it is an issue. As of now though is seems the official word is "working as intended". They seem to have plans to tweak a few insignificant things, but not much.

I agree but they will not do it. The poll is sorta shocking but I guess we got a lot of brown nosers on this forum.
I dont understand why people would not want some compensation for Zenimax's mistakes. I realize it will never happen cuz thats just Zenimax's way of not properly excepting their mistakes and doing whats right.

No thanks they did that in SWTOR, I didn't like it, it mucked up keeping other aspects in line.

In this game that would be our crafting XP, basically we would zoom miles ahead, but wouldn't be able to craft for ourselves.

Reading comprehension on this forum is lacking. The dev clarification admitted there is a bug with XP. Quests are not giving out as much XP as they should and neither are lower level monsters. As soon as this is fixed we should start leveling faster again. The only thing giving out as much XP as they intended are MOBS that are around the same level as you or higher. and I felt that the XP they were giving was on par with where it should be, so I see no issue with their clarification.

It was a screw up. ZoS already acknowledged that in these forums specifically referencing the XP and that that it was a top priority. I'll take them at their word on that. Especially considering one of their stated intents of 1.5 was to make it faster to level up. They didn't do it on purpose...sheesh.

Give everyone a number of XP boosters based on their time played to make up for it and I'll be perfectly content with that.

The only way this is true, is if you make it true by shelving any character between VR1 and VR14 until they fix what they broke.
