Will someone please explain why you will not take my money

My subscription renewal went through fine today, my boyfriends (rutterman) did not. He received an email that said the payment failed. Both subs are linked to the same account. We sent a support request and received a response to check and make sure all of our info was entered correctly. Well it was, probably because we haven't changed it since it was entered the first time over 6 months ago. We contacted our bank to see why they would have declined payment and they have no record of you even trying. He changed his billing info to his card (same account mind you) figuring it may be the name on the card causing issues. You charged the $1 verify fee, but his account still says payment failure and it requested the info to be entered again so he did and the second $1 verify fee went through with the same result. We contacted our bank again and they still have no record of you even attempting to run the charge through again (except the two $1 fees) I know the forums are not supposed to be the place to report billing issues but he has tried every other means you have available and we have not received an answer AT ALL except the cookie cutter response the was generated to tell us something we already knew was not the case. Please take my money ZOS, it's Friday we have some @#$%&ing gaming to do.

    Yes they charge a $1 fee to verify that the account is legit. This made since when they made you purchase your sub before you could access the free 30 days after purchase. It doesn't make since so much now since the whole amount should just be charged because there is no trial period to expire before the sub starts since it's a renewal. But whatever, we just want to play and can't :(

    Hi @deadlock007‌ ! This sounds like it may be a case of the payment being declined due to an identical charge being made around the same time since you stated that both payments were linked to the same account. It will do this to prevent accidental duplicate purchases.

    If you could please have your boyfriend submit a customer support ticket if he has not yet, one of our agents will be happy to look into the matter further and verify if this was in fact the case.

    He did this, here is the ticket # 141107-000615. The last response he received was the one I mentioned above.

    My husband's experience was even stranger. Our credit card company says they approved the charge ... He submitted a ticket, but static on our phone line kept him from actually talking to customer service last night or this morning.

    I have had the same thing happen. I ended up having to use paypal.

    Same thing is happening to me - I've also tried two different account numbers. My husband's went through fine, and I'm seeing the $1 fee, AND my bank has no record of the attempt to charge the full amount!

    The only thing you don't mention that I have is that I had to change my card information since my debit card expired within the last couple of months.

    Edit: I did open a support ticket. or two.

    My card has not changed at all. We took Valen's advice and went through paypal and it worked with no problem (except a third $1 fee lol) maybe you can do the same even though you shouldn't have to; but this was the only answer we have received that worked. Now I am just waiting for my account to be charged 3 times for one 6 month sub.......

    Try using PayPal.

    I tried using Mastercard last month but could not make the transaction.
    Denied from bank a few times.

    PayPal and it works !

    Needless to say payment system has issues since launch.

    why we even bother to report things like this to them is beyond me.You think things like getting payed and keeping a player would get top of the list lol.
