Our whole group said one sentence.

"wow, thank god, it feels like it did in BETA and we love it."

For the first time in a long time, a choke point worked - Breaking travel worked.

Sneaking with a full group deep into enemy territory to kill a travel route and then come back to FINALLY take Chalman at 1:30am eastern time... Was Amazing... Tactics WORKED. People Actually used some of their skills to keep the group moving....

I know, I know - if you die, you have to take a 45 second to 60 second ride on a horse back to the battle... And you can just run in and drop Pulse and Bat Swarm every where on a death wish to just instantly respawn and do it again. It sucks that you can't take a battlefield and turn it into a mini arena to spam fire, bats and chains.

But, you actually need to play now...

while I myself think FCs just needed modifying, im still glad ZOS did something about them. it seems they DO care about PvP.....

They care SOOO much, that from all the suggestions offered about fixing the issues with FCs, they took the most low-cost option. Simply removing them from the vendors.

They took the quickest action to solve a major problem. This does not mean they are not working hard to come up with a viable FC solution that benefits everyone.

I would rather them remove and then take the time to rethink the objects of the FC with the community and test it.

Why do we set the bar so low for ZOS in a game where we pay a monthly subscription?

I have heard nothing but apologist speculation of whether they are going to put camps back in when they are "fixed" or this mysterious "camp radius rez" issue which is apparently the most difficult programming problem in the history of all computer science - according to hearsay and speculation by people who have never programmed.

It is getting a little silly now.

I guess all of those massive battles I have been involved in at the Chalman milegate were imaginary and they never slowed or prevented one alliance from moving forward. Yeah, battles never occurred there before camps were removed.

And I would be remiss for not congratulating you for your team's capture of Chalman at 1:30am. Regardless of the possibility that you may have conquered more NPCs than actual players at that hour, your accomplishment is still remarkable given how Chalman has seldom been captured in the 7+ months the game has been live. Chalman is easily the Castle Brindle of the inner Emperor keeps.

I bet someone out there a similar story to tell about the Alessia bridge and how the removal camps is suddenly producing epic battles there even though that location never saw any action before Monday.

We can only wonder what other locations are now experiencing epic battles following the removal of forward camps. Personally, I can't wait to hear tales of a historic confrontation at Hackdirt.

Yea I would have to agree lol hope they do not turn out like Mercs....

They at least need a transit system, like they were talking about if they were to remove camps.

Agreed, and loving the changes.

Would like to see a small FC that is grouped and ranged, but that will take time I'm sure.

One of the best games I have seen in a LONG time. So, I am not sure where your bar is located, but maybe you should pull it out. Because, you have a choice not to pay and play. Also, apply for a job at ZoS and solve this programming problem.

Typical Fanboy. You know, there used to be more of you. They are slowly losing faith that this game walks on water and starting to realize that this game traps you in water (in certain cyrodiil) keeps.
