Disappearing Yokudan boxes

I noticed this a couple of times completing quests in Crag - at first I thought maybe it's just auto opening the boxes, but after thoroughly checking my inv, it seems every once in a while when I press "open" the box with its contents just disappear. Happened to me again last night, this time I talked to groupmates about it and one of them said he'd been having same issue, too. I don't do enough quests in Craglorn for an extensive testing of this bug, seems random though. Some boxes open, some seem to magically disappear in thin air along with my reward, which is *slightly* disappointing.

Hey there @Magdalina,

Do you happen to have any inventory management add-ons? We've heard of issues where some add-ons will auto-filter some loot away from from you. Please disable any add-ons that you have prior to opening your next Yokudan box and let us know if it helps!

If you aren't running any add-ons to begin with, let us know that too and we'll be happy to continue working with you.

Only addons I run are FTC and Wykkyd's outfitter, none of which should be affecting my inventory in any way.

Hey there @Magdalina,

Thanks for letting us know! While it's unlikely that these add-ons would cause the issue you're running into, would you mind giving a quick shot to disabling them for the next Yokudan box? Outfitter does have parameters that modify your inventory, so we just want to rule it out as a possibility.

Also, there is an option for auto loot in the Settings menu under Gameplay > Itmes. Could you let us know if this is enabled?

My autoloot is always disabled, and I'll try to turn my addons off next time I get hold of a Yokudan box. I'll let you know what happens:)

Had this issue myself, and was informed by CS that they don't give loot if your higher VR11, so currently bugged. They did send random loot(what's available from the box) to replace though, I my case 3 green items for the 3 boxes I'd opened, although wouldn't say your really missing out if you don't do this, vendored the things I got. Appreciated the thought ofc

Quest rewards in vet 10+ zone don't give loot if you're higher than vet 11? Delightful-.-

I'm not sure, I think they might drop smth decent sometimes, though I've never been one to be liked by RNG gods, but even if not, it's a matter of principle. If I do a quest and get a reward, I want to actually have this reward, not have it go randomly missing.

We can confirm this as well after taking a look into it.

There is currently an issue with the Yokudan boxes not being able to be opened by characters higher than VR11. If opened on VR11 and below, the box will have an item. If the character is higher than VR11, the box will be empty.

This is being fixed and it will be rolled out with an upcoming patch. If you would like to receive replacement boxes, we'd be happy to open a ticket for you, but for now if you're VR12-14, please avoid opening the boxes.

Is this a new thing? All I know was that the reward for Shada's Tear dissapeared when opened.

Finished a quest in Craglorn yesterday (Critical Mass) and when I opened the Yokudan Box it just disappeared.
I'm V12.

Please read the thread! It was answered bei ZOS official that yokudan boxes are buggy! When you are VR12 or above you will not get any loot from them.

A fix is scheduled for a future patch... whatever that means in detail.

I am currently carrying around 4 of these boxes straining my already overloaded backpack with it. Presumably not worth it to wait for the green crap coming out of those boxes but for me this is a matter of principles!
Anyhow the rewards for the end group content in craglorn is a joke... sadly. Quest design, storyline and PvE encounters in quest lines like critical mass etc. are mostly very good and doing them with a group of friends is fun and sometimes challenging. So... rewards a crap and an insult for the terminus "reward".

I can read. Thank you, it was more dedicated to "we can open a ticket for you if you want replacement" and I do even though the rewards are crappy.
But I have to say that most of the boxes I received I got at least epic stuff like a glyph or something which for me is good - for my enchanting. ^^

Any fix here?
I still carry 4 of these boxes with my main VR14 character and i am afraid to open them. Opening the boxes and creating a ticket to get random content of the boxes from customer support is not a viable option.

Appears to be fixed, I opened one 2 days ago and received an armour piece from it.

Because the boxes always worked for VR11 and below...
