Reloading ESO

I have had computer issues and had to do a system restore to two weeks ago. Now when I try to load ESO I get a fatal error message. I can get to the launcher page, but that is as far as I can get. My question - if I reload the game will I lose my saved characters and all the progress I have made? I was thinking that since this is saved on the server I might be okay. Has anyone else reloaded ESO? What was the result? I have submitted this error to support, but since it is the weekend, I don't expect a response anytime soon.

Syntse✭✭✭✭✭You will not lose anything... the saves are on the server.
You are able to play TESO at home, go to friends place and log on to your chars there. Go anywhere where the game is installed and log on and use your chars. As long as the server is the one you are using.Syntse Dominion Khajiit Dragonknight Stamina Tank [50]
