Quests/Dungeons - Do People Still Group

black-gryphonb14_ESO
On my way to VR14 I found it more and more difficult as I made it through the last alliance zone to find people for grouping on the more difficult World Bosses and dungeons.

Now that I made it and feel I'm ready to tackle Craglorn, which is about the only place I have achievements remaining (Not including Alliance) - does ANYONE still group for doing these dungeons and quests? In zone and 3 different guilds no one showed any interest in grouping other than 'grinds' and I'd rather get some grouping experience on the basic dungeons/quests before tackling the trials and Dragonstar - not to mention the 5 group dungeons in each alliance zone.

I read about people complaining about too much solo content, yet now that I'm ready there doesn't seem to be any interest in grouping that doesn't involve grinds, trials, or Arena. Another thing to be looked into - when I do find a couple people interested in a guild - oh damn, we're in different alliances so we can't do it. IMO, alliance affiliation shouldn't have any impact on PvE outside of Cyrodiil (Assuming individual already has access to a particular area)

One of the reasons I left WoW (among others) and I see it starting to happen here is the 'elitism' - if you don't have 'X' Add-On, TS*, and 'Y' Experience or this particular build or that particular armor set then we aren't interested in having you so don't bother us.

So hey...I'm in the Daggerfall Convenant, a Templar (built for solo play) so mainly a Tank/Healer and am looking for people interested in running the Craglorn Quests and Dungeons as well as the Vet/non-Vet group dungeons in all alliance zones.

*For various reasons, hearing being the primary reason, I do not use teamspeak.

Send me a mail in game. Same name... You can join my guild. We do group content all the time.

For the 7 veteran dungeons of the first alliance zones, I think many people are waiting for update 5 to do them again, because of level scaling (up to v12) and the undaunted quests.

For Lower Craglorn, the main quests have a major flaw: once you have completed them, you can no longer access some parts of the associated delves and are inable to help your guildmates complete the quests.

In Upper Craglorn, you should be able to find groups. The limitation of Lower Craglorn doesn't exist there. I've accompanied several groups on quests I had already completed.

Didn't they fix that in the latest update?

Im in the same boat. Im thinking that most people are solo but eventually your going to need to get some dungeons etc so you can level faster but I feel like a broken record on chat begging for a group.

They should change the background music to celine dion 'all by myself' because its lonely out there when you have nothing to do.

I just tell myself that people over Vet3 have a massive group of online friends because at this stage I cant imagine me getting past vet1. Allll by myyyyself....

    ...

This sort of makes sense, but I would prefer to go in slightly overpowered now and learn the mechanics of each dungeon (and earn the achievements) rather than trying to learn it all when we're all the same level.

I also have yet to learn (or perhaps re-learn) how the dedicated healer functions in this game. It is far different from my experience as a healer in another game where most everything was targeted healing with only a couple group heals. Diving into a 'at-level' dungeon learning to be a dedicated healer is a good recipe for not being invited again.

As far as the scaling thing - think there should be a switch for that just like there is for vet/non-vet.

Just wait for the next update. The new undaunted dailies will get people grouping at least a few times daily.
