hellkrasher✭✭✭My god the constant qq of NB is incredible. The class is in a really good place right now. Its the most or second most popular class in pvp. Light armor and Medium armor builds with staves, bows, dw or even 1/shield works really good. In pve are excellent tanks healers and dps, maybe not the BEST in one particular aspect, but pbly second in all of them and never last. To finish, NB has the highest burst by far in the game. DK healers are the worst, dps Templars are the worst, pbly Sorc tanks are the worst, NB is good in all. You ill never hear "LF dps for trials... all except NB", even more, one of the strongest clases for gank build and stamina builds for pvp is the NB, by far. And dont let me start talking about passives and your ultimates... myself as a templar i only wish to get ultis like the ones NB has.
You have some bugs, and still, its one of the strongest clases in all aspects of the game, stop crying damn it. You are so annoying to the point of irritation. Complain about new bugs its fine, but stop complain about the same thing over and over again, things will get fixed, the amount you cry about it will not change how fast they get fixed.

Did you see Sypher's demo vid of 1vX Nightblade?
He did this after 3 days of learning the class. He working on learning the class more, maybe then we will see him do stuff like with his DK.

Every class has its unique strengths and weaknesses, as i as a templar dont expect to burst ppl in a second, you as a NB shouldn't expect to be able to survive as much as a dk or a templar at least not troughing you in the center of the enemy zerg. NB and Sorcs rely on movement teleport/stealth mechanics to survive. Its a different play style. But you CAN 1vX. In fact to be honest, nobody can 1vX and win against same lvl and same skill lvl enemies. Most 1vX you see is against noobs, really. The only class right now that can actually win a versus 4-5 decent players is a DK. Though this happens because dk has some OP skills that ZOS already said they are trying to balance, for example, dragon scale (the dragon wings that makes DK 100% immune to ranged attacks... just ridiculous). So its more of a balance issue with some key skills. But to summ up, you cant expect to play as a paladin type class with a sneaky bursty class, even if you can actually survive a lot, but the way NB do it is different from dks and templars, you SHOULD know this by now... i mean... if you are a NB and you are here complaining... i assume you actually know a bit about your class... but maybe im asking to much
And i repeat, most 1vX you see that actually win, its because they fight against bad players or are circumstantial fights. I been in fights where some good dks were fighting 3-4 guys and rocking them, and with simple smart use of skills and timing i went and break his rotation in few seconds. All depends on timing, to really summarize it... burn their stamina, stun and burst it down. Actually, the high burst of NB is mainly the use of stealth and crits. Any class can use stealth attacks.
Ergo, ganking. Which is fun but useless.

About the sypher vid, going to check it out when i'm home ( on mobile currently) but i have a faint idea of what he's doing.

Im the one who taught sypher lol this whole thing was a joke. but the thing is true alot of NB skills are broken/useless -

To me, one of the most shocking thing they did was the nerf to siphoning strikes's return value from 4% to 3%, which basically ruined NB healers. The only possible reason for this was that Templar healers whining how NB healers were "too good" in magicka regen (basically a "lol" considering that people will only ask for temp healers nowadays even for vet dungeons). And on top of that, they adopted the longstanding bug that leeching strikes only returned 2% health as an intended feature.
(Even with the recent screw-ups on the cloak, many of us will never forget the wholly unjustified nerf to siphoning strikes). -

Fun fact - Siphoning attacks has a internal cooldown...which makes it even worse.
