Add a new Khajit Passive: Safefall

Seriously, cats always land on their feet. Khajit should have a passive that scales with level which would allow them to fall greater and greater distances with either no injury or lessened injury.

If we're taking old khajiit passives, I'd rather have unarmed
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

I think there should be Khajiit passives involving fishing. A bonus to getting rare fish or something.

What about Argonians? They're excellent swimmers, I'm sure they're proficient at fishing too.

Khajiit are not the same as cats, except when they are.

The passive is wrong for ESO though.

I'm ok with Khajiits getting safe fall as a racial passive only if it comes with another, mandatory one: to be distracted by balls of yarn. Just picture how Cyrodiil would suddenly look like: threads criss-crossing everywhere, with playful felines bouncing to and fro... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

    Agreed-

There should be more distinct racial passives for all the races IMO. The thing is, how do you provide those without unbalancing game play especially in PvP. For instance the suggested skill to fall or jump from high places without taking damage could have great implications for Khajiit in PvP. The challenge would be balancing out the others such people don't just play Khajiit. I mean if that skill was introduced there is no question. I would play as a Khajiit. So what other skills would you folks suggest to make other races sexy enough to play?

Argonian- can't do swimming or water breathing. Has no application in PvP worth noting. Mabey if swimming was super fast or attacks could be made from the water might be kind of cool

Orc- feats of strength? Maybe they could have something where they jump and do damage to people around them as they land sort of like dragon leap, but they still take damage from the fall, perhaps less?

Humans- What do you suggest? I got nothing here.

Mer- What? I got Nothing Here.

Just brainstorming. I'm not attached to the above thoughts in any way so what are your suggestions?

Khajiit also need a night vision passive! Oh wait, nights are bright and so are dungeons for some reason... we need actual dark nights and dungeons first!

Anyways, a racial ability added for each race would be cool (if it got its own skill slot). Khajiit's could be called Feline Prowess, which passively reduces falling damage like you said and also makes nearby enemies glow when activated at night/indoors/in a cave. Something like that would be very underpowered though if it had to be put into the existing 5 slots.

@Drazhar14‌ , with Gamma all the way down on my beautiful LED screens, dark is dark. The library of dusk about killed me, and there have been a handful of others that were genuinely caution raising.

There does seem to be an overabundance of torches and Ayleid crystals laying about...yet I can never pick on up and take it with me?

Yeah, I'd love to be able to use torches. I did the same thing back in Skyrim making nights and caves actually super dark, and it was awesome. Only thing with adjusting your settings like that is, for other people, it will still be actually bright in the game. So PvP would be really unfair.

My cat alt doesn't seem to have a habit of falling off from rooftops in this game. Just wondering what practical use such passive has? In combat? Maybe it could be a passive for Thieves Guild.

There is around 0% chance any race will get one passive extra compared to the others , so the question becomes which passive should be removed for this to enter.

The Life-Reg skill for Safefall? Could be an option :)

But I think that's just a fun skill, because where do you need a "safefall" skill? The idea is cool, but I think there are not so much options to use that.

And wenn you jump from the "nose" (stormhaven) for example, you WILL DIE. Even if you are khajiit with safefall ;) If you would alive that, you could be the new "unrealistic mountjumper" in the whole world of Tamriel ;)

No I agree that each race would have to get a new passive. And I like the idea of them being double-edged swords.

The Khajit, for instance, might get safefall, but lose stamina when in water.

It shouldn't be anything that would really be useful or leave a player at a disadvantage, think of it like a spice.

I have not given thought to other racial passives. Any ideas?
