Who would win?

Started playing this in EP chat today and got some interesting responses. Only rule is that the fighters have to be a part of Elder Scrolls lore.

I'll start off with, Who would win, Sheogorath vs. Sithis?

Sithis, but I have no idea how the mechanics of that fight would work.

    Sithis. Definitely Sithis.

I think Sheogorath would beat Sithis fairly easy... Sithis is too full of hate and too serious to take Sheo'smadness and creativity as a threat... as such, Sheo would easily have carte blanche to stomp Sithis into..."oblivion" ;)

To me at least, it isn't clear whether Sithis has any remaining personality or sentient will, or is just a static force.

In all the ES games, the Daedric Princes are the only gods that interact with anything. The Aedra's forces only seem to exist in crystalized form like the Amulet of Kings, and the Aedra never directly interacts with anything. Sithis is even older than the Aedra, and has no known direct interactions in the game's time period.

Yeah, I considered that, but in the end I decided that it is pointless to make such a comparison if one party simply decides not to play. If Sithis did pop in and rumble with Sheo, I think Sheo would be on the losing side just due to the sheer power involved here. Besides, I am certain that Sithis would cheat. Sithis is rumored to have a tendency to spawn 'enforcers' when the need arises.

Lord Harkon vs. Count Verandis Ravenwatch?
My money's on Lord Harkon. He was given his vampirism by Molag Bal directly, and I saw no indication that Ravenwatch can say the same (correct me if I'm wrong). That said, if it's not an out-and-out fight, I wouldn't put it past Verandis to outmaneuver Harkon somehow. Strategy never struck me as one of Harkon's strong points.

That's not entirely true about the Aedra. Sometimes they show up to give you a lucky coin or an old pair of gloves.

    Hard to say.

While Sithis is clearly more powerful, it's not clear he actually has a physical form, which makes a fight hard.

Also Sheogorath is extremely creative, and could have a few dangerous surprises up his sleave. But Sheogorath's great weakness is Sheogorath, he is literally capable of stopping midfight to look at a amusing fruit.

Also it's not clear why Sithis and Sheogorath would want to fight, Sithis is Chaos and Sheo is maddness, what conflict is there?? Since madness furthers chaos, and Chaos fascinates Madness (okay, not all forms of madness).

Tentative Naryu Victory. Raz is experienced, but the Morag Tong is pro at killing.

I think everyone is way off in this thread... both entities are immortal, Sheo would never agree to slug it out 1v1 as he would probably find it boring and unimaginative. The "battles" between immortal beings usually end up being wagers. Sheo usually beats more "powerful" being because he's infinitly more imaginative... And also prone to cheating.... Read up on any competition containing sheo... He usually wins.

Sithis. It's seems obvious to me that if a mortal can beat him (Shivering Isles Expansion) or one of his colleagues (Molag Bal) in mortal combat, then Sithis should have no issues winning. As for whether they would fight, assuming Sithis represents Chaos and knowing that Sheogorath is the broken Lord of Order Jyggalug, I see no reason why Sithis wouldn't take the opportunity if a challenge was issued.
Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? Get out of here Sheo, stop bugging me!

Actually, Verandis was turned by Molag Bal too. I don't rememeber when exactly we learn about it, but it's mentioned. You're right though, Verandis seems to be the smarter one. Being much older, Harkon may have the advantage of raw power, but my money's on Ravenwatch too. :)
