Would you like to see Forward Camps Removed from the Game?

    Why would you even make such a request?

    Apart from a new abuse, which Wheeler has adressed that they are working on.
    Why would you want to destroy the game for others?

    Should I make a poll about removing PvP from Cyrodiil to make it only PVE?
    Since there is no way, most players can explore that zone without getting attacked.

    Which I like! But most PvE players do not, and don't even know about all the cool PvE stuff in there.

    That would be good (for a start; prepetual camp spam is just as harmful), but they said that while they were working on it, it was hard to do and would take time. Removal is quick, efficient and reliable.

    I strongly believe Forward Camps in its current implementation are a detriment to pvp. They are being abused for blood porting, magicka resets and plainly makes no sense.
    They make sieges stupid since dying doesn't matter, you can be right back into the fight after literally 5 seconds depending on placement.

    Hell, even WoW BGs have ress delay.

    Could you imagine having ress tents in endgame PvE? It'd take all the skill and challenge out of the game and any player that enjoys that kind of gameplay even a little would be here on the forums making the same kind of polls we have about FCs.

    As of right now, Cyrodiil is a collection of battlegrounds. The zone is stunning both visually and gameplay wise. It's the best PvP zone i've seen in any game including DAoC and the first couple of months while FC were bugged had some of the best pvp I've experienced. Sadly, there is't much PvP going on in there nowadays.

    You port from keep to keep, AoE, die, AoE, die, AoE, die over and over again untill "Yay their side forgot to put down a tent for 20 seconds, we win!!!" or the other way around. "Next keep!" Suicide > port.

    The reason i want this is not so i can gank either. I just want the population more spread out and to add some randomness to the game, like running into a group of players in the field. This doesn't happen anymore.

    I'm the kind of player that wants some challenge in my pvp. Ganking solos doesn't provide that and neither does sieges.

    Um, soulstones?

    Dungeons, even the biggest ones, isnt even a fraction of the size of Cyro.
    Res at shrine = startpoint in the dungeons. Running back takes minutes, max.

    Resing others is one major part in harder dungeon encounters.

    Kinda even better then forward camps. Don't you res people in Cyro? ;-)

    I'm not talking about a dungeon here, i'm talking about raids (well, trials i guess...).

    And no, people don't ress eachother in cyrodiil, because tents. I've been asking for a more convenient ress along with nerf/removal of tents all along.
    Problem with ress is that it's slow, you have to stand right on top of the person you want to use it on and it's hard to find the right target with a bunch of corpses piled on top of eachother.

    Give it a 10m range and easier targeting and it'll be fine.

    Besides, it only takes a minute or two to run between most keeps in Cyrodiil too, so what's your point?

    Removing forward camps is only going to give zerg ball groups a bigger advantage. They already have plans for improving the useage of fcs and jusy removing them should not become one of them.
