How do I Install the PTS by Shortcut?

This is my issue: my internet is very limited and I only get 50G/month. I cannot download the entire PTS from scratch. So what is the workaround/shortcut to avoid the majority of the download?

I faced the same issue whe trying to install EU but found out that you could just copy the entire "Live" directory to a new directory called "LiveEU" then repair it and it would work fine with a minimal download.

Can I do the same sort of thing with the PTS? If so what is the folder called?

Not entirely sure, but I don't think it works that way because the PTS client is rather different from the live client.

you do not need pts, go with live and be happy

remember, you have to download patches twice. live and pts

Yes and I can't be sure I will always do that but I want to try. So I'll make a very simple request.

Can someone please take a look at their ESO folder and see the subfolders
*live
*liveeu
and see what the PTS is called?
*PTS?
*publictestserver?
*notlivePTS?
PTSlive?
etc

The folder where the client is its called "elder scrolls online PTS"
The settings folder in your document folder is just called "PTS"

One cannot copy live to PTS folder. However if your friend has downloaded the pts then you might be able to copy the folder from friend and then do repair or install on your machine without need for download.

Live cannot be transformed to PTS as they are completely different versions. EU and US are most of the time the exact same version except for the patching days.
