Ideas for an improved grouping/LFG system

I have a few suggestions for an improved group/LFG experience!
  • Allow players to repeat quests. This would also be a good idea for players wanting to see the story again without having to roll an alt, plus it would be a good way of earning some cash, but to prevent massive gold farming, the more you repeat quests the less gold you get. In order to balance it out, the high levels should be downscaled or the mobs upscaled. This could also work as a mentoring system.
  • Condense main zone story quests into about 5 large quests. Destiny does this and it works very well. Side quests can be left unchanged.
  • For the love of Pete, allow us to group up for the main quests!
  • Add a better LFG system! You can start by removing the existing one, as it sucks. Instead, there should be a list menu where you can put your group on and the public can join it or see what it contains first. It should specify the amount of people in a group, the class composition and specific roles/classes the group is looking for.
  • Fix phasing issues in the rest of the game. You're doing a good job fixing them in Update 4.
  • Create some group-centric side quests in the main zones.
  • Touch up the main zone story quests so they're a bit more difficult and thus provide players with an incentive to group.
This would greatly improve the grouping experience. Grouping is one of the worst features in the game at the moment, and it could REALLY use some improvement.

    something like this is already planned. They are going to leverage the undaunted guild to provide rewards that you can purchase via tokens for completing dungeons. This should encourage people to run dungeons multiple times/

    already working on this, but some things will remain solo

    I wouldn't remove the existing one until better options are in place.

    Already exists in the form of world bosses and public dungeons (not to be confused with delves)

    I'm not sure I agree. I don't like being dependent on other players for basic progression.
