Concealed weapon.... wat?

Concealed Weapon (Veiled Strike morph): Your stealthed movement speed bonus is no longer removed if another player character casts Shadow Cloak while stealthed.

How do we go from reporting it doesn't work at all to... this?
Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

yeah, im starting to think we have a serious communication problem, and maybe even a direct hatred of our class by the developers.
in no way am i joking or being sarcastic in this comment, im being totaly serious.

I"m really hoping that an intern made a serious typo on this "fix" and it is supposed to say:
Your stealthed movement speed bonus is no longer removed if THE player character casts Shadow Cloak while stealthed.

so, we put in a comment to the help desk both ingame or on the forums and we allways get told that "they themselves play a nightblade and they know our pain comrad and we are sending this along to the right people a fix is coming soon"
well, i think this is pure bs.

looks like we hired a car mechanic to fix our grandmothers heart attack. the people performing the work on nightblade class obviously have no business working on nightblades skills at all.

I hope not because that wouldn't fix the problem either, heh.

Okay, guys, really? There are any number of things that could explain this. Maybe this was actually a problem? Maybe it was a typo? Something else, perhaps? There's no need to mindlessly bash the devs. At least they are trying to do something about the problems. Do they always succeed? No. Do they break things while fixing others? Sometimes. Are they perfect? No. Are they trying to make the game better for the playerbase? A resounding yes. They could have left all of this broken and made us deal with it, but they rolled out a fix a week after a major update. Stop giving them grief for attempting to make YOUR experience better.

Sometimes break things? every single gorram time they've made changes to a skill that was bugged with nightblades, they've made it worse. Have you been under a rock or do you not play a nightblade? You have a lot of nerve to come into my thread and dictate how we act. You are not the arbiter of these boards so you can stop pretending that you are.

Also, there is no "mindlessly bashing the devs" in this thread. Run along.

lovely speech, but your talking to people who have been struggling with an under par class since launch, at this point they are rightly or wrongly, wondering if anyone gives a dam.
I think it is right to question their testing though, as this seems to be hugely lacking.

They could have left all of this broken and made us deal with it

that is exactly what they have done. when they removed the nightblade vampire stacking speed they also broke our invisibility even more then it allready was, they also made it so our stealth radius is even smaller now compared to where it has been since beta, thus making us even more visible in stealth, they also made it so that damage over time now even makes us even More visible and Completely OUT of stealth upon any atack made by us or anyone else.
this is not only intentional this is a direct exact oposit to what we were asking for in both the help desk in emails and also ingame help requests, including all talk here on the forums explaining how much worse now our stealth is.
it's Very obvious and clear we are not dealing with people who wish to help us but they are Intentionaly breaking things with the nightblade class for reasons beyond our ability to know.
we ask for a help and a fix and instead things are taken away more and more and more to our class.

Love the game, but it is clear Zeni does not have the human capital it needs around QA and project management. The work product speaks for itself.

Please keep in mind that this is a commercial product, not our friends making up a D&D campaign in the basement. It is reasonable for people to expect a reliable polished experience.

I think I realized today that for me my choice really is: Accept ESO as it is (which I mostly enjoy if I don't play my NB main), unstable with a steady stream of new bugs as they try to fix old ones, or move on to a more polished game.

Okay, first off, yes, I have a Nightblade. I have a character for every class, so I know what these changes do to them. And yes, there is dev bashing in this thread as, and I quote from one of the other users, "it looks like we hired a car mechanic to fix our grandmother's heart attack", the not-so-subtle implication being that the dev team sucks at their jobs. I should have quoted him in my first post, and maybe I jumped to conclusions about the tone of the other users' comments, but I have seen enough bashing on these forums to think that's a safe assumption. No, I am not the arbiter of this board, but I stand by what I said. I just would prefer it if people would at least appreciate the fact that the dev team is trying to help. As they have explained before, there are a lot of moving parts in the game, and it can be difficult to nail down the source of a problem and fix it, especially without affecting anything else.

Okay, most of what you just listed aren't bugs, they're balance changes. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean the devs aren't leaving you with a broken game. I already said that they aren't perfect, and bugs do happen, but don't say they're leaving us with a broken product and cite balance changes as your "evidence".

I can agree about the testing, at least. I stand by my assertion that they are trying to help, but there are things making it into the game that really shouldn't. The biggest complaint I hear is that commonly known issues found on the PTS make it to live, and that truly is unacceptable.

Why don't you guys just have a play first to see if it's better or worse before you come here and yap all about it?

I appreciate the problems with the class and hope they get fixed soon, but all this constant negativity and conspiracy theories that ZOS doesn't care or is trolling you is quite frankly hilarious to watch.

They only fixed half of the issue though. If Concealed Weapon is slotted on only one bar and I weapon swap then weapon swap back, it still does not reactivate the bonus until I leave Sneak and re-enter Sneak.

I hope not because that wouldn't fix the problem either, heh.

I tested Concealed Weapon on two different characters after 1.4.3 and was never able to reproduce the issue people were claiming to have with receiving no speed boost.
I tested using RavSpeed so I could track actual speed changes. Consistently worked, and still working now.
