I am sure it will be quite a while until the server is back up, but for those who are really impatient, the first something of something of some kind has started downloading for ESO on the NA server if you've left the client loader open.

    Yup, almost 2 gigs of downloads has started for me. This could take a while.

    Same here. Have 400MB left. At least for the first part of the update. Surprised patch notes aren't up yet.

    I'm fairly certain that was just the first small "getting ready for the big stuff" prep batch of files. There's going to be a lot to follow.

    Unless this was a really small update that went very smooth, which I guess is a nice trade off.

    If you leave the launcher running it automatically downloads an update as soon as its pushed out. Left it running the morning update 3 came out, and didn't have a issue.

    I don't know that for sure, but, I just wouldn't be surprised is all. I didn't notice the part that was 2 gig. I just noticed the download had begun. But either way it always seems to take a while with Update Day.

    So far I've download a ~1.5GB file, a small file <100MB, and now its downloading 3GB's.

    Well it's supposed to be about 6GB so you're getting close...

    ...and will still have to wait for the server to go back up anyway. :)

    True. I'm still excited to be ready to go as soon as the server comes back online. Would be nice to have the patch notes right now to pass the time.

    patch finished, 2 steps, 2.7GB, then applies then another download of ball park of 3GB then applies. Pretty quick at moment, download now before the masses slow it down

    Yeah installing the last part now. Download speeds were great for me, maxed out my connection the entire time.
