Level 17 but still so many questions on the game

Hi everyone,
I try to look in the search area but my search words got me too many results. If the answers already exist just give me the link. I know (and apologize) this will be quite long discussion but playing a french version (seem to me not very popular here), I have to translate all my queries and it is hard in the middle of a fight or a quest.
1/ I play a group dungeon yesterday near the Rilis castle. Totally unable to communicate efficiently communicate with group leader. I could tell or whisper to him not talk to the whole group. Maybe only the leader can do so. Although I have some knowledge on RPG and the basic terms, he was using abbreviation I did not understand. Where can I find a glossary ? Also with the group, they were telling each other which weapon armor they got. I understand by the leader I had to "create a link", but unable to exchange anything. Again is there a tuto to trade earned treasures ?
2/ I have a weapon (red for the moment) that I can use only with 10 successes : how do I get these successes and where can I see them in my character chart ?
3/ I am meeting characters with yellow circumflex near their names, what do this mean
4/ I put some money (1000gp) in a bank or what I believe to be so. I have absolutely no way to retrieve it. Also like Diablo, do we have a personal storage to keep weapons and armors at safe and not in the inventory ? How do we increase the inventory (strength / vigor ?)
5/ LAST. Does strength/vigor really increase weapon damage. For the moment I am not keen to increase that competency compare to health and magic. Your advice on this ?

Sorry if I have been a p... i. t.. ... but I feel I am not using the game to its full level having so many holes in my knowledge.

1a) If you're in a group, type in the chat bar /group and then type your message. This will let you chat with the whole group.

1b) To trade, hover your cursor over the character that you want to trade with, and hit "f", this should bring up a radial menu. Just use your mouse to find the "trade with player" option and then hit that. It will bring up a trade window.

2) I have no idea what you are asking here. How is your weapon red? Do you mean purple? And I don't know of any weapon that is based on "successes".

4a) Just go back to the bank, and hit the "withdraw" button in the top right corner. Then an option for withdrawing your gold should appear. This bank is a safe place to store any items that you wish to.

4b) You can increase your storage space either by going to a bag merchant (found around towns), increasing your horse's carrying capacity (once you have a horse), or you can increase your bank inventory size at the bank.

5) Stamina increases weapon damage with anything except staves, which are based on Magika. So if you are using a lot of magika and staff attacks, then there is little need to increase Stamina.

3: The circumflex are probably the players PvP rank, if you are in Aldmeri Dominion, they will be yellow, blue for Daggerfall, red for Pact and the symbol willl change based on their rank in the alliance war.

For Aett_Thorn, successes was translated from French. It may another word in English. But the weapon seems red to me (I have started in Auridia and still playing there) but maybe it is purple. What does this mean ? And I am sure this is not a level, because I have the right level to use the weapon.

It is likely purple. It is a designation of weapon quality. Base is white, then green, blue, purple, and orange/yellow. It just means that it is of better quality than an equal-level white, green, or blue item of the same type.

What you might be talking about is weapon charges. It just means that there is an enchantment on the weapon. Each time you hit with the weapon, it has a chance to proc an extra effect (with a cooldown period). When your weapon runs out of charges, it can no longer proc that effect. You can recharge the weapon with filled soul gems.

4a) Although it sounds like you are using your personal bank, I wanted to mention that if you are putting money in a Guild bank, you may not have permission to withdraw. You can view the permissions for you rank in the guild interface ("G").

That is what I thought at first, too. But then he said that he was using it, so ruled that out. I am betting that it is purple, and mate some of his color settings have it leaning towards red.

No it is not linked to my level as it is saying level 15 (I am 17) but needs 10 successes (the symbol seems to be like a shield)

I wonder where you even found a purple in Auridon. Anyway, can you tell us what is says in French? Or post a screenshot, it would be even better. I have no idea what successes could mean, but it's probably some kind of enchantment.

Hi guys,
Unable to do a screen print. However the weapon is the Belladone dagger. The symbol seems to be related to group dungeon and the term in French is RANG which translates literally to RANK. I cannot equip the weapon as the rank 10 is in red.I have the same symbol in my group menu and it says that this will be released when I will reach my first veteran level. I have read that veteran level is 50. It is already difficult to go to 18... I guess I will put it in a bank somewhere.

Oh, THAT shield symbol. You have a Veteran Rank 10 dagger of the Nightshade set. Yep, you're still a long way from VR10; level 50 equals just VR1, then you have another two full alliance questlines before reaching VR10. You probably won't even need that dagger anymore when you get there...
